Welcome to the Schepmann Angus Ranch! For over a century our family has enjoyed raising cattle in historic Ellsworth County, Kansas. Through generations, the cattle side of our operation has been the steady pillar which all aspects of our farm revolve around. Alongside our pasture acres most of our cultivated acres are rotationally planted to wheat, milo, sedan and cover crops with grazing purposes in mind for our true passion of developing quality replacement females. Each year we source some of the finest heifers in our region to develop alongside our own and breed them to the most reliable, cutting edge genetics available. We have worked very closely with leaders in the beef industry to ensure our offering of bred females have every advantage of becoming sound, long term producing females for our customers. Each year we strive to improve our program, and this year we have taken it even further by sexing each artificially inseminated unborn calf through ultrasound. The heifers were ultrasounded for pregnancy and the AI bred heifers were fetal sexed in July.
