Please attach copy of current membership cards to entry. Attire: Formal show attire required for hunters, hacks, jumper classics and Pony Club championship classes. Braiding recommended for hunters and Pony Club championship classes. Riders MUST wear ASTM/SEI approved helmets with fixed harnesses at all times while on the show grounds. Competitor numbers must be visible. Points: 1st-7, 2nd-5, 3rd-4, 4th-3, 5th-2, 6th-1. In case of 1 or 2 entries over fences, the classes/division will be combined and scored with another similar division. Ties will be broken by most 1 st places over fences in a division. Classes: Ribbons awarded for all classes to 6th place. Divisions: Prizes awarded to 3rd place. Ribbons awarded to Champion and Reserve Champion. Jumper Classics: Prizes awarded to 3rd place. Ribbons awarded to 6th place. Hunter/Jumper Stakes: Champions will be awarded 25% of total class entry fees. Ribbons awarded to 6th place. Pony Club Specials & Championships: For current Pony Club members only. Pony Club entrants must have competed in at least one other class at horse show. Prizes awarded to 3rd place. Medals awarded to 3rd place. Ribbons awarded to 6th place. Prize for Best Turnout. Mounted awards presentations for all Pony Club Championship classes Sunday after each class. Specialty Awards: A $250 Park Ridge Farm Junior Jumper Award will be awarded. Nomination forms will be available in the show office. All nominees must be both 17 years of age or younger as of January 1, 2018 and a Pony Club member. Nomination deadline is Saturday June 2, 2018 at 5pm. Age Groups: Senior 18 and over as of Jan 1, 2018 Jr A 15-17 as of Jan 1, 2018 Jr B 12-14 as of Jan 1, 2018 Jr C 11 and under as of Jan 1, 2018 Junior Competitors: All junior competitors must be supervised by a responsible adult while competing. Hunter/Jumpers classes will be run open card, including medal classes and excluding jumper classics/stakes/pony Club Championship classes. Coaches & competitors must be responsible for signing up their rotations, which will be organized 1st come basis. If you anticipate a ring conflict, please talk to the in gate. Jumpers will be shown on the grass. Please shoe accordingly. SHOW COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COMBINE, ALTER OR CANCEL ANY CLASS. QUESTIONS / CONCERNS ARE TO BE ADDRESSED TO SHOW MANAGER. Entry Rules: One form and number per horse rider combination, except in the case of a rider subbing for a warmup class or under saddle class. All exhibitors MUST have and show a current HCBC #. All non-pony Club exhibitors must sign a waiver. Waivers are included on the registration form and are available in the show office. Late Entry Fee: $25 for all entries received after 5:00 PM on Monday May 28, 2018 Scratches: Exhibitors cancelling after show deadline shall forfeit their entry fees except in the case of disability of entry. Entries shall be refunded upon presentation of a Doctor s or Vet s certificate. Adds & Transfers: $5 per add/scratch sheet or $20 for unlimited add/scratches All adds must be in the office by 4pm. Stabling must be arranged in advance. Payment MUST accompany entry to confirm. You MUST provide a clean stall deposit in order to receive your number. Clean Stall/Paddock deposit $50. Refundable upon inspection Coaches, please arrange stabling to ensure your riders are together. Stabling is available on a limited basis. Priority will be given to the exhibitors who must travel the furthest.
