VOLUNTEER APPAREL: All volunteers must purchase the Volunteer Package at a cost of $75. The Volunteer Package includes: a Volunteer Badge good the entire week of the Tournament, a Cutter & Buck outerwear piece, a Cutter & Buck golf shirt, headwear (option of a baseball cap or a women s visor), an invitation to the Volunteer Party and lunch vouchers on the days you work. Both men and women volunteers are encouraged to wear KHAKI pants ONLY while working the tournament. Your payment of $75 offsets a portion of the actual cost so that the Tournament can continue to benefit local charitable organizations. COURSE INFORMATION Laser Operator Assist with the ShotLink scoring system by shooting the player s ball with a laser to measure the exact location. The ShotLink system collects and disseminates real-time scoring and statistical data. Volunteers must be able to attend a MANDATORY training session with Champions Tour officials on Saturday (10/4). Committee days: Wednesday Sunday. Scoring Receive and record scorecards and inform the staff and Rules Officials. Standard Bearer Help maintain accurate player scores while assisting each professional group. Must be able to carry a standard sign (weighs approximately 5-7 pounds) and walk all 18 holes. Committee days: Wednesday Sunday. Walking Scorer Record statistics and scores for players on a Palm Pilot as part of the ShotLink system. Must be able to walk all 18 holes and attend a MANDATORY training session with Champions Tour officials on Saturday (10/4). Must be available to work the Pro-Am on Wednesday; committee days: Wednesday Sunday. COURSE OPERATIONS Carts Allocate golf carts to PGA TOUR Staff, Chairs, Committee Chairs and Operations. Maintain a sign in / sign out sheet. Assign cart signage to individual carts. Ensure cart keys are returned; carts are charged and cleaned daily. Committee days: Monday Sunday. Commissary Responsible for the distribution of on course refreshments and snacks to players, staff and volunteers. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. required, as position requires lifting of cases of beverages, bags of ice, five-gallon bottles of water and coolers. Committee days: Sunday (10/5) Sunday (10/12). Course Prep Install rope and drive stakes into ground on the golf course and adjacent areas prior to the tournament, maintain rope lines tournament week, remove rope and stakes after tournament. Assist with unloading and assembling scoreboards pre-event and breakdown post-event. Portions of the work of this committee require significant lifting, potentially up to 50 lbs. Special Needs Shuttle Provide cart transportation and assistance for disabled spectators to and from pick up and drop off areas to reserved disabled seating areas on course. Committee days: Tuesday Sunday. Shipping & Receiving / Supply Distribution Receive and inventory daily packages and shipment arrivals for the Championship staff, players, Golf Channel, etc. Responsible for the distribution of spectator information (programs, spectator guides and pairing sheets); should be willing and able to do minor lifting. Committee days: Monday Sunday. MARSHALS Marshals Maintain the ease of movement for players, caddies and officials by controlling noise and gallery activities. Marshals will also assist with the movement of players on and off of the course due to rain delays or whenever deemed necessary. Twenty (20) hour minimum is required for this committee. On-Course Shuttles Shuttle professionals, caddies, and sponsors, etc. throughout the golf course as needed. PLAYER AND MEDIA SERVICES Caddies Assist with professional caddie registration; distribute and collect towels, caddie bibs, etc. Acts as a concierge for the caddies and maintains the caddie lounge area. Committee days: Monday Sunday. Corporate Hospitality Greet guests and check credentials at hospitality facility entrances. Assist Marshals with noise control when players are approaching hospitality area. Hospitality days: Thursday Sunday. Media Center Assist Champions Tour Media/Public Relations staff operate on site center for journalists covering the Championship. Distribute press credentials and welcome journalists, maintains Pressroom Leaderboard and assist with administrative tasks, as requested. Pro-Am Inventory and pre-pack Pro-Am gift bags prior to Championship Week, if needed. Greet and check in amateur contestants prior to Pro-Am play, then distribute gift bags and assist, as needed, during post play awards presentation. Pro-Am days Monday 10/6, Wednesday 10/8 & Monday 10/13 (Am-Am). Television Spotters - Assist the Golf Channel with tournament responsibilities including carrying microphones and equipment for Golf Channel staff. Committee Days: Thursday Sunday. CHAMPIONSHIP SERVICES Admissions/ Will Call Sell tickets and exchange coupons, assist with security check of credentials and personal items and distribute Pairings Guides at entrance gates. Organize and manage pickup location for credentials during tournament week. Committee days: Tuesday Sunday. Apparel Inventory, maintain and distribute volunteer uniforms on specified days pre-tournament week. Assist with fulfillment of volunteer orders and sales during tournament week. Some lifting of cartons is required. Champions Tour Initiatives Work with tournament staff in execution of Youth Day, Honorary Observer Program and other special functions and as necessary. Merchandise Tent Greet spectators, manage display area, and assist with organization of inventory. Office Administration Assist Tournament Staff throughout the year and during the event with general administration of the office. Must have good people skills, phone skills and be willing to fold, stuff and stamp when asked. Volunteer Village Set-up and manage Volunteer Headquarters during tournament week. Register volunteers, answer questions, replace coffee and snacks and maintain volunteer area; may also assist Apparel Committee. TRANSPORTATION SERVICES Transportation Assist with the pick up and return of golf professionals and management staff to local and regional airports. Assist with the deployment of courtesy cars from local dealerships. Drives players, family members and other VIP s to and from hotels and other destinations. Must be 21 years of age and provide a valid driver s license. Committee dates: Wed. (10/1), Thurs. (10/2) through Monday (11/13). Parking (General & VIP) Direct spectators and sponsors to appropriate areas in lots; maintain inflow/outflow of traffic and overall management of parking areas. Volunteer Application Page 3 of 4

TERMS & CONDITIONS Age: You must be at least 18 years* of age to be considered for a volunteer position at the tournament. *Youth Standard Bearers are ages 13 18. Transportation/Accommodation: Volunteers involved in the tournament understand that transportation and accommodation will not be provided by the tournament. Shift Hours: Volunteer duties are applicable before, during and after the tournament. You will be notified of the shifts (service hours) that you will be required to complete. You will also be notified as to who you will report to (Committee Chairman). You may be required to attend scheduled trainings and briefings (if any). You will be informed of the location and time of any training(s) and briefing(s) well in advance. Dress Code: As a volunteer you will receive a uniform and volunteer credential, which are to be worn at all times during your shift. Your uniform and credential are not transferable and, if lost, will not be replaced. You will be responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and laundry of your own uniform. Khaki pants must be worn while on duty. Sandals and traditional spikes are not permitted. Safety: We take pride in observing high standards of safety throughout the tournament. We endeavor to provide you with the safest volunteering conditions possible. As a member of the volunteer team, we ask you to comply with all safety requirements associated with your volunteer position and support related policies and procedures. Please follow the Committee Chairman s instructions with respect to safety at all times. Volunteers should communicate any and all problems, conflicts or suggestions (safety or otherwise) to the Committee Chairman. Eligibility: Volunteers are subject to verification of eligibility by background and/or reference checks at the option of PGA TOUR. You will not be eligible to volunteer in the future or may be dismissed during tournament week for (but not limited to) the following: Consumption/being under the influence of alcohol or drugs while on duty Theft Insubordination, abuse or mistreatment of players, fans, tournament staff, visitors, guests or other volunteers Failure to abide by tournament policies and procedures Failure to complete your shift(s) as directed by your Committee Chairman Allowing another person to use your volunteer credential Seeking autographs outside of the designated autograph area Entering restricted areas without proper credentials Cancelling without returning items ordered/purchased as part of the volunteer program Not being punctual and/or leaving your post unattended Dismissal will not entitle any volunteer to a refund of the payment for the Volunteer Package. PGA TOUR reserves the right to accept or reject applications in its sole discretion. Use of Trademarks: Volunteers may not use the tournament name or logo, website content, written agreement or any material and publication that carry the tournament marks in any way without the written permission of PGA TOUR. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: In connection with your activities or the activities of your minor child as a volunteer at the tournament, you agree and understand that the presence of you or your child at the tournament and any volunteer work or services performed by your or your child for the tournament, Baltimore Country Club, PGA TOUR, its affiliates and subsidiaries and their respective officers, directors, agents, members, employees and officials as well as any other volunteer (collectively referred to as the Indemnified Parties ) may expose your or your child to both known and unanticipated risks of harm or injury. In consideration of and as a prerequisite to the you or your child s participation as a volunteer, you, for yourself and your child, acknowledge that such risks exist, hereby assume all such risks, and release and discharge the Indemnified Parties and each of them from any and all claims for liability for personal injury or property damage that you or your child may suffer while performing such volunteer work or service, whether or not on the premises of Baltimore Country Club, including, without limitations, any claim arising out of any condition of the premises owned by Baltimore Country Club or used by the PGA TOUR for the tournament or the conduct of any person in connection with the preparation for, supervision of or conduct of the tournament or any practice round or activity connected or related to it. You further understand that neither the tournament nor the Indemnified Parties will maintain insurance which will cover your or your child for either personal injury, property damage or medical expenses, and you accept full responsibility for the costs of treatment for any injury or damages suffered by you or your child while participating as a volunteer in connection with the tournament. You have fully informed yourself of the contents of this release by reading it before signing it and agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein in consideration for performing volunteer services. Volunteer Credential Terms: You grant permission to PGA TOUR to utilize your image or likeness incidental to any live or recorded television or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the tournament. You agree not to transmit or facilitate transmission of any account, description, picture, or reproduction of the tournament, including, without limitation, scoring-related data, without the specific advance written permission of the PGA TOUR. Soliciting autographs from tournament players with intent to sell is prohibited. You agree that you shall not seek autographs of players in order to sell such autographs, and you shall not pay another person to obtain an autograph for you. For security purposes, no bags larger than six inches will be permitted onto the golf course, including purses, chair bags, and camera cases. You hereby consent to the reasonable inspection of your person and property before entering the tournament, which inspection may include, without limitation, metal detection. No food, coolers, ladders, signs banners, mobile phones, PDA s, radios, televisions, firearms, explosive devices, etc. will be permitted on the grounds. All pagers must be on vibrate. NO cameras or camcorders are allowed during tournament rounds. No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto or taken from the grounds of the tournament. You agree to abide by all rules and regulations established by the PGA TOUR and the Tournament, and a violation of such rules and regulations can be a cause for termination of the licensed granted herein, forfeiture of the volunteer credential and your removal from the tournament. The volunteer credential cannot be used in a promotion or offered as a prize without permission from PGA TOUR. Resale of the volunteer credential is not permitted. It is unlawful to reproduce the volunteer credential. PGA TOUR reserves the right to revoke this credential and cancel all privileges connected therein.
