Introduction The Golf Club was formed as West Bromwich Golf Club in 1895 and moved to Sandwell Park at Christmas 1897, on land owned by the Earl of Dartmouth. In 1946 the Club purchased the land from the Earl and since that time it has continued to develop. The Old Clubhouse was demolished in the early 1990's and a superb modern one built which is second to none. It is now in the enviable position of being one of the leading clubs in the West Midlands. The Club is located on the edge of Sandwell Valley, an area of green belt in the heart of the West Midlands which sits on the border of Birmingham, West Bromwich and Walsall. It is located 100 metres from Junction 1 of the M5 motorway and 3 miles from Birmingham City Centre. The Hawthorns, home of West Bromwich Albion Football Club, is located 500 metres away. In the tradition of the Golf Course we offer quality with our Dining and Function facilities to help your day be memorable. The Perfect Venue Whether you are planning a Birthday Celebration, Special Occasion or a Corporate Function, Sandwell Park is the perfect venue for your event. Sandwell Park is an exquisitely picturesque Golf Mark and English Golf Union Championship Venue Golf Club. We have a fully licensed bar, drinks packages can be provided at a cost per head and can be tailor made to your choice. Our Catering Team provide a top class dining experience with its fantastic freshly prepared food. Every menu is Bespoke and individual to your Event. Our experienced and professional team of waiting and bar staff will always ensure you are completely satisfied with all aspects of your day. Function Suite Clubhouse Lounge Our elegant Clubhouse Lounge provides top class dining for up to 100 people seated. Smaller numbers will not be out of place either as the room is adaptable to cater for any number of guests. Within the room we have a bar area and doors onto our patio area with superb panoramic views of our golf course. Room Hire Charges Exclusive use for a full day - 500 Exclusive use for Evening Occasion - 300 All prices include Exclusive use of the Lounge with bar the day. Use of a section of the Clubhouse Patio area Smart, effective and professional waiting and bar staff White table linen and napkins High Chairs available Also, chair covers and table decorations are available for an extra cost.
Catering Your Special Day should include only the best in everything, therefore, our talented Catering Team have designed our Wedding Menus that are full of flavour and fine dining. Each menu has Vegetarian options, if you have any other specific dietary requirements this can be catered for by our Chef. Entertainment Nights We also hold exciting entertainment nights where we welcome members and non-members to join us. Our entertainment nights make for a fun evening out with friends and family with a range of popular favourites; we think you ll be hard pushed to find a better night out. On all our entertainment nights the Restaurant is available.
General Information Car Parking The Club has ample parking at the back and side of the club house. Bookings and Payments We welcome you to visit our venue where a member of the team will show you our facilities. A booking form will be signed and a deposit will be taken to guarantee your booking. Payment options and plans will be discussed at the meeting. Dress Code We request all guests to wear smart attire. Grounds All guests must be aware that at any time they are not allowed on any part of the golf course including putting greens, sand bunkers and areas surrounding the Clubhouse. Mobile Phones It is prohibited to use mobile phones in the public areas and also on the patio area at the front of the Clubhouse. Mobiles may be used in the corridors or Reception foyer.
