SEMI DISPLACEMENT HULL DESIGN FOR OFFSHORE BLUE WATER CRUISING All Clippers models are designed with semi-displacement keeled hull designs to maximise weight and stability under the water line, reduce swinging and movement at anchor and protect the underwater running gear from shallow waters and underwater objects. Our motor yachts are designed to maximise range at 8 knots yet can comfortably cruise at 16 plus depending on engine options with top speeds up to 23 knots.
