We all now look forward to meeting our Parents and Whanau next Tuesday at our annual BBQ at the school 5.45 pm to 7 pm in the Courtyard. WEBSITE We are in the process of upgrading our website and we are collating the necessary information for the new site. It is hoped that the site will be ready early next term. The intention is to keep the site as up to date as possible so parents and caregivers can keep track of everything that we are doing at school. I will let you know when it is finished and ready to go. SWIMMING SPORTS Well done to all those who competed in the swimming sports, it is great to see you giving it a go. It was a smoothly run event so well done to Mrs Mears and her team for their excellent efforts. CAMPS AND AQUATIC DAYS These two activities are due to start over the next couple of weeks. Our first camp heads away on March 3 rd and our first Aqua day will be on February 21 st. I know the year sevens are all excited about their day at the lake, let s hope the weather plays the game and any predicted rain stays away. OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS It has come to my attention that one of our pupils has been performing very well on the tennis court lately. Sam Bubb has been chosen to train with the Canterbury Development Squad as well as performing well in recent tournaments. He recently won the Mid Canterbury A Reserve Gala Cup mixed doubles with ex intermediate pupil of 2013, Erin Connelly-Whyte. Ka Kite Gavin Cooper Principal/Tumuaki
