Sweden Promising results for the Marklund team The 2017 European FIA Rallycross champion, Anton Marklund, started the 2018 season by winning podiums in both of the two first races of the series which took place in Spain and Belgium. With his Volkswagen Polo Supercar revised by the team during the winter the 25-year-old driver hopes to win a second crown this season. // Page 6. Zimbabwe Emmanuel Bako in the line-up for the national title Zimbabwean junior motocross vice-champion, Emmanuel Bako of the FUCHS team, excelled during the first three of seven rounds of the 2018 South African National Championship. At the age of 12, the young competitor took the current lead of the championship in the 85cc (Juniors) class with his KTM FUCHS Silkolene bike. // Page 4 Exceptional record time for Peter Hickman at the Isle of Man FUCHS Silkolene rider, Peter Hickman, becomes the world s fastest rider with a record-breaking Senior TT victory in the prestigious Isle of Man TT race. With his lap record of 135.492mph, he broke the existing fastest lap in the world and pipped Dean Harrison to the post by just two seconds. // Page 7.

Photo Credit: SportsCode Images Germany Two podiums in their class for the BLACK FALCON team at Paul Ricard BLACK FALCON s Mercedes-AMG GT3s scored two class podiums in the third round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup which took place at the legendary Paul Ricard track in France. Held over a gruelling 1,000 km distance, twice the normal race length for the season, the team s Silver Cup and Pro-Am entries both delivered excellent results in a dramatic race that has further improved their respective championship positions. The 3 Mercedes-AMG GT3s (#4, #5 and #6) were part of a stellar 51-car field that raced into the night. Almost half the grid belongs to the top-line Pro class of professional driver squads. The race used the full length of the legendary Mistral straight, a 1,8 km blast that leads into the high-speed challenge of Signes corner. Overcoming this challenge, BLACK FALCON s drivers came through to finish as the highest placed AMG in their classes. The #6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 won a fine 2nd place in the Silver Cup class their third podium in a row and a creditable 15th overall, which sees them increase their championship lead. The three drivers of the #5 AMG in Pro-Am crossed the finish line in an excellent 25th place overall and 3rd in class, claiming the final podium spot in Pro-Am. This result has moved them up to 4th in the Pro-Am Teams standings, just a handful of points behind the leading teams. Unfortunately, the drivers of the Pro class #4 were forced to retire after bumping into a BMW, just half an hour into the race. The next marathon event, July s iconic Spa 24 Hours, will be held at the famous circuit de Spa- Francorchamps in Belgium. Big points are available for holding positions throughout the race, so it will be a pivotal event for the team s championship hopes. Blancpain Endurance Series: round 4: 26-29 July (Spa 24 Hours); round 5: 29-30 September (Barcelona) 2

France Alexandre Giroud on the podium of the Hellas Rally 2018 At the end of a race trip over 2,500 km across Central Greece, Alexandre Giroud won 2nd place of the 2018 Hellas Rally in the quad class. This international event welcomed 300 riders including around fifteen quad competitors. During the seven stages, all the sportsmen must drive through sandy forests, rough terrain and mountains. What makes this rally unique is the fact that opponents must race with a roadbook, as GPS technology is forbidden. During a heatwave close to 40 C, Alexandre Giroud drove ten hours a day on his Yamaha 700cc. The objective of this rally was to acquire experience, develop the performance of the quad and battle for the first places. It was an excellent experience for the next Rally Dakar. Leaders of the first three stages, we had to give up 1st place following a few navigation mistakes. Recognised in the off-road rally as a record man who finishes all his rallies, Alexandre is grateful for the products supplied by his partners. I use numerous products of the FUCHS Silkolene range and I like the quality and the performance of these lubricants, essential for these very demanding rallies. The team is currently preparing for the Quad World Championship / 12H of Pont de Vaux which will take place in August in France. For this 32nd edition, Alexandre will race with a lighter quad on this cross track against 500 riders who came from 15 nations. Simultaneously, the organizers will offer entertaining events which will attract thousands of fans. France Charly Abraham in the starting-blocks for a new season At 34, Charly Abraham benefits from eleven years experience in dragster motorbike races. For the second year in a row, he will race the FIM European Drag Racing Championship which takes place on the prestigious tracks of Hockenheim (Germany) and the Santa Pop Raceway (UK). These circuits, especially designed for this kind of races, will welcome 300 dragster motorbikes and cars and up to 60,000 visitors for the event. In 2017, his first season in the Pro-Stock class, Charly won 5th place in a field of 18. He challenged his rivals on an American Buell dragster equipped with a two-cylinder engine built by S&S of USA, which develops 385 hp. From a cold start, the dragster reaches a speed of 300 kph over 400 meters in under seven seconds. This class is only for supercharged gasoline engines. In terms of acceleration, it is the fastest engine in the world, said Charly, chief of the V-twin workshop, a FUCHS Silkolene customer. This dragster requires a lot of set-up work before the races and maintenance during the ten runs of the race. I am always looking to increase our maximum speed. Mechanically we are pushing the limits and mistakes are fatal. This engine is very demanding, it does 10,000 revolutions in a fraction of a second and the lubricants are sorely tested. The fact that I use good products from FUCHS Silkolene allows me to upkeep my equipment and save engine parts like crankshafts and pistons, which are very expensive to buy and maintain. Using these lubricants also allows me to increase power and improve the performance and the reliability of the engine. Zimbabwe FUCHS Zimbabwean riders on the podium Emmanuel Bako The third of the seven rounds of the South African Motor X National Championship took place in SAMX in Bloemfontein.Three motocross riders from the FUCHS team, Emmanuel Bako, Regan Wasmuth and Leah Heygate, are now in a strong position in the fight for the 2018 SA National Championship titles after delivering some brilliant performances. Emmanuel Bako left an indelible mark during this event, winning 1st place in heat 1 and 2 in the 85cc class and taking the lead in the championship. Only 12 and already well known in the SA Motocross circuit, Bako was untouchable on his FUCHS Silkolene KTM bike. In the 125cc class, Regan Wasmuth (14) achieved 2nd place in both heat 1 and heat 2 for a 2nd place overall. Regan is now currently lying 2nd in the SA National Championship, closing the gap on the leader. In the Ladies Championship, Leah Heygate from Zambia on her FUCHS Silkolene KTM got the perfect result, winning both her heats and being on top of the podium. Leah is now 2nd in the championship ranking and is breathing down the leader s neck. The other members of the FUCHS team have also delivered great performances. In the MX1 class, Jayden Ashwell on his 450 FUCHS Silkolene KTM got back to challenging the leaders with a 5th in heat 1 and 4th in heat 2, for an overall 4th. In the MX2 class, Scott Heygate from Zambia achieved a credible 18th overall. The fourth round of the 2018 SA National Championship is scheduled for July at Terra Topia in Gauteng. Slovenia 33rd FUCHS RALLY Velenje: a prestigious event Since 2014, FUCHS Slovenia has been the main sponsor of the FUCHS RALLY Velenje, the biggest car rally organized in Slovenia. Created in 1984, these motorsport races are organized by AMTK Velenje, the Avto Moto Turing Klub Velenje, and host 70 crews from eight countries*. This legendary rally also counts for the Slovenian Rally Championship and the Mitropa Rally Cup. High level drivers battled impressively over 280 km on very tricky roads. Like the other editions, the public was very impressed by all these mano a mano battles taking place between the protagonists. At the end, the locals Turk Rok and Kacin Blanka (Peugeot 208 T16) won the race for the second year in a row. Their most powerful rivals were Claudio De Cecco and Jean Campeis from Italy (Hyundai i20r5) who scored 2nd place and their compatriots, Humar Aleks and Cevc Jaka (Peugeot 208 R2), who won 3rd place on the podium. A result that pleased the Slovenian motorsport fans. We decided to sponsor this motorsport event because it is an impressing car rally in our country and its popularity is beneficial for our brand. Every year, 30,000 spectators come to cheer the teams and drivers for two days. They can see our FUCHS banners all along the 12 special stages of the rally and FUCHS logos on all the car doors. In addition, these races took place throughout Velenje, an industrial region with a great potential customer base and a lot of opportunities for our business. So, it is an excellent opportunity to strengthen the brand, explained Martina Fink Dimec, FUCHS Business Development Manager. This event is relayed by the media through motorsport publications, Sports TV Networks and the National TV Network in the evening news. Photo credit: Bastien Roux Sweden Two races and two podiums for Marklund Motorsport team Swedish rallycross team Marklund Motorsport defends its 2017 European FIA Rallycross Championship title on the five rounds of the series with its driver Anton Marklund. The 25-year-old competitor scored 2nd place in the first race in Spain and 1st place in Belgium. He is currently in 2nd position of the provisional ranking within just three points of the leader, Reinis Nitiss. Our objective is to win a second Supercar crown. It won t be easy to defend this title because there are some very fast cars and drivers in Euro RX, but we will do our best to be on top by the end of the season again. During the last winter season, triple Euro RX Champion Marklund Motorsport built a new four-wheel drive, 600 horsepower Volkswagen Polo Supercar* at its Boliden workshop in Northern Sweden. The team based it on the 2017 title-winning concept but optimised and fine-tuned it to be even more competitive. FUCHS sponsors the team for the first time this season. * 0 100 kph in 2.2 seconds 6 The two-litre engines in our cars produce 600 hp. Both the engine and the powertrain are subjected to immense strain. It s vital to have good lubricants that help to make the most of the engine and reduce wear, explains Anton. Marklund Motorsport uses oil, grease and other lubricants from FUCHS. During the season the team has ongoing contact with FUCHS specialists about every aspect of lubrication. The FUCHS logo is displayed on the brand-new car. All of the five rounds of this championship are very popular, attracting the media and more than 40,000 enthusiastic spectators for each race. Next races: July, Höljes (Sweden); September, Lohéac (France) and Riga (Latvia). FUCHS lubricants: TITAN RACE PRO S SAE 10W-60, TITAN SINTOPOID LS SAE 75W-140, MAINTAIN DOT 5.1, TITAN ATF 5500, Renolit Uniway LIX 815 PA HP

Austria FUCHS privileged guests at the Salzburgring track Partner of the legendary Salzburgring race track for many years, FUCHS Austria was invited by Ernst Penninger, the manager of the circuit. Markus Kollenz and Helmut Stöllinger from FUCHS Austria and their customers all enjoyed the hospitality of their prestigious hosts throughout the Mozart Race. From the front row, they could cheer the 200 drivers racing in six classes: Formula Historic, Touring car, BMW 325 Challenge, Porsche Classic, Suzuki Cup and Touring car open. They enjoyed this memorable exchange that they could share together. More than 10,000 spectators watched these exciting races from the tribune. Astonishing victories for FUCHS Silkolene backed riders at TT FUCHS Silkolene backed Peter Hickman claimed his first ever victory at the Isle of Man TT Races for the Gloucester-based Smiths Racing team. He took a sensational win on the Smiths BMW S1000RR in the four-lap RL360 Superstock race. The 31-year-old also went on to win a dramatic Senior TT and set a new outright lap record of 135.492mph. It was the first ever 135mph+ lap of the Mountain Course and Hickman s second win of the week. Following this superb victory earlier in the week, Hickman took his third podium at the 2018 Isle of Man TT Races when the rider claimed 2nd place in the four-lap Monster Energy Supersport race 2. FUCHS Silkolene ambassador, James Hillier and the JG Speedfit Kawasaki team, also won victory with a podium in the RST Superbike TT. Peter Hickman James Hillier Peter Hickman 7

Magical times for Adam Morgan at Thruxton CA1 team celebrates its 50th victory with David Bogie Carlisle-based rally preparation team CA1 saw its driver David Bogie, partnered again with his long-time co-driver Kevin Rae, achieve his 50th career win on the Pirelli Carlisle Rally. In their Skoda Fabia R5, the crew had a trouble-free run on the usually unforgiving gravel roads of south west Scotland. Afterwards, a delighted David said: It is always special to win your home event but it makes it even more special when it is win number 50! The CA1 Sport team is continuing its summer travels with a journey to Belgium. Drivers David Bogie and Rhys Yates are competing on Rally Wervik, both in Skoda Fabia R5 s, in preparation for the Ypres rally which is the next round of the British Rally Championship. Magical times for Adam Morgan at Thruxton Ciceley Motorsport driver Adam Morgan earned the top spot in the British Touring Car Championship after a fascinating dual at Thruxton. Adam said: It s a fantastic feeling to be sitting at the top of the championship. It is the first time I have found myself in this position and it is something that everyone within the Ciceley Motorsport team is thoroughly enjoying. Following the victory at Thruxton, Adam had to add 75kgs of ballast in his car for the next round at Oulton Park, but even with this, he still had a respectable outing with an 18th, 11th and 5th place finish. In the middle of this contest he still came 2nd in the BTCC Championship, just a few points short of the leader. Congratulations to Matthew Robinson and Sam Collis Matthew Robinson and Sam Collis are celebrating after winning their first victory at the 2018 FUCHS LUBRICANTS MSA British Historic Rally Championship. The duo took top spot in round 3 of the rally, the ATL Carlisle Stages. We have been close to this so many times, so it makes a change, said Robinson after a very popular win. Robinson and Collis had a double reason to be cheerful after claiming the FUCHS LUBRICANTS Spirit of the Rally award. 8

Sensational double and six other podiums for FUCHS Silkolene teams at NW200 The 2018 International North West 200 race week took place in May on the North Coast of Ireland between the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine. These motorsport races are the largest outdoor sporting event in Ireland and attracted 100,000 spectators. The most prestigious riders came to this legendary race to demonstrate their skills in the Supersport, Superstock and Superbike classes. FUCHS UK was present with three teams who gave the FUCHS Silkolene brand a great boost due to their great talent. Double wins for Be Wiser Ducati team Glenn Irwin swept to an emphatic double victory at the International NW200 in Northern Ireland. He took both Superbike races by commanding margins around the high-speed 8.9-mile circuit. A great historical victory for the Smiths Racing team Peter Hickman clinched both his and the team s first ever International North West 200 victory. He came out on top of a thrilling Superstock race, which he followed up with a runner-up place in the second race. A new class lap record for the EHA Racing team Alastair Seeley of EHA Racing produced stunning performances and took victories in both the Supersport and Superstock events. The Supersport race win was backed up by a new class lap record on his YZF-R6 (117.913mph / 4min 33.864sec). The result completed a perfect NW 200 for Seeley and the EHA Racing team, converting a pole position into two wins, two fastest laps and a new class lap record. 10
