PADDOCKING AND PARKING INFORMATION: The paddock will open for Pirelli World Challenge competitors on Wednesday, May 29 th at 8:00 AM. All teams must exit the paddock by 10:00 PM Sunday. Only team transporters and associated vehicles will be permitted to park in the team transporter areas of the paddock, under the direction of SCCA Pro Racing. All other vehicles will be required to use general parking areas. Traffic and fire lanes must be kept open. Parking rules/signs will be strictly enforced in the paddocks and throughout Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. Vehicles parked illegally will be towed. No Paddock Parking on the Island. Package pick-up is located at One Picnic Way, at the corner of Picnic Way and Riverbank Drive, near the Shuttle Bus Drop-off and Pick-up area. There are NO pick-ups after 2:00 p.m. Sender should confirm Saturday deliveries. DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING: Waste fluid reclamation stations are located in the paddock. Separate receptacles are labeled with regard to their contents (oil, antifreeze, fuel, etc.). Please deposit accordingly. Please dispose of waste responsibly. Do not pour oil, gas, coolant or any other automotive fluid on the ground. CLEANLINESS OF PADDOCK/PIT AREA: It is the responsibility of each competitor to keep his or her paddock/pit area clean of debris at all times. All Teams are expected to present the best possible image to the fans and for our host promoter.
TRACK RULES/INFORMATION: Paddock: Paddock open 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM Thurs Sat and Sunday beginning at 7:00 AM Security on duty 24 hours No cooking, no grills, no open flames, No alcoholic beverages No competitor camping Bikes are allowed for competitors only Scooters are permitted in the paddock moderate speed only. No children under the age 18 allowed in paddock without adult supervision. No children riding on motorized equipment without a helmet. NOISE REGULATIONS: No race engines after 8:00 PM Cars may ONLY be operated on the Course during Pirelli World Challenge official sessions and under no circumstances before or after. Pets: No Pets ATV s, bicycles: ATVs allowed in the paddock for competitors ATVs not allowed on the Midway, or on the track except to pull or transport race cars and equipment ATV tuggers are to be used for vehicle transport to and from the pit lane. We have been advised they will not tolerate joy riding in park and violators will be ticketed. Truck Washing: Washing facilities will be available prior to move in to the Paddock at a location determined by Grand Prix officials.
