Submitted by Paul Hayes Revolver, L to R: Rob, Bob, & Carla Unable to shoot individuals, as I was busy hand filling my trailer with water, out Bathroom was down for repairs/renovations, I took a break and ran down to snap our Revolver team pictures. Later as we were getting ready for the Carbine match I asked for a report from each team captain, captain, Lars reported; We won, Chris and Paul Davies had a great match. The captain, Bob reported; We did very well As we assembled for the Carbine match the wind continued to whip around as it had done all morning, but the sun was still shining and it was very pleasant. The 1 st event was the Pigeon Board and team got off to a rough start, only getting one on the 1 st volley. They ended up getting beat by the C at the end. Carbine, L to R: Chris, Alex, Jeff, Paul & Bob Revolver, L to R: Chris, Paul & Lars started out much worse, going over 3 minutes to finish, D didn t finish and left some. Next came the Tiles, did better with Chris getting 3 of 4, C had trouble with this event going over 2 minutes. came back with the best time of all 4 s with Lars getting 3. D finished this one under 3 minutes.

The Pigeons were 3 rd and Chris got 3 again and helped finish before C. However didn t and D had difficulties but finished before the horn. D Carbine, L to R: Davy, Derrick, Dennis, & Sonny Carbine, L to R: Steve, Nancy, Paul. Carla & Lars Hanging pots was the last 50 yard event and once again Chris got 3 and again finished around the 1 minute mark. struggled but finished just over 2 minutes and once again C shot great and finished in front of. D ended up leaving a few. Smoothbore Match was next and all the 50 yard events went pretty even and fast for all 4 of us. The difference came at 50 yards, which is where Chris had an outstanding match going 5 of 5 and guaranteeing an easy A2 Win and 4 th overall which is our best performance yet. Smoothbore, L to R: Chris, Rob, Paul H. & Paul D. C Carbine, L to R: Mike, Rob, Larry, Skip, & Jimmy Moving to 100 yrds, Alex came through this time hitting his first 3 in a row, with Chris getting 2 and Paul & Jeff getting 1 each. finished strong, beating the with Steve, Paul, Lars, & Carla getting 2 each. C slipped a little & "D leaving a few. ended up 5 th overall; C beat and ended up in 3 rd in the. finished 1 st in the C s and D came in 7 th. Sunday was very clear and cold as the team trickled down to the line to prepare for the Musket Match. We manage to capture a Rep to fill out the C Musket Starting out with the Pigeon Board as normal, started slow, but had a strong finish with a decent time. on the other hand started slow and continued slow throughout, barely finishing before the buzzer. C struggled and ended up leaving 11. Hanging Tiles were next and hit 4 on the first volley and went just over a minute to finish them up. had to go right to finish theirs and C finished up in just over 2 minutes. The pigeons were next and

away with the C win and the gold. Looking forward to the Nationals! Musket, L to R: Steve, Jeff L, Paul, &Lars Kneeling L to R: Chris, Jeff H., Rob, & Bob had trouble with the last 3 which made their time a little long for this event. did OK on this one with Larry and I getting 3 each, and C did OK as well, finishing up in good shape. The dreaded Pot event was the last at 50 yards, and Jeff Light had a good one, hitting 4. Because of that went long on this one. was worse, hitting 3 twice and finishing behind the C, who did very well on this event. C Musket, L to R: Prisoner Scott, Sonny, Bill, Derrick, & Skip Kneeling L to R: Bill, Dennis, & Doug Congratulations to Steve who won the Senior Mcaleer award and to Nancy who won the McDaniel s award for her Carbine Aggregate score and to the Revolver who won the John Elton award. Musket, L to R: Davy, Nancy, Larry, Carla, Jimmy, Paul, & Lon Kneeling: Mike The last event for the day, 100 yard Tiles and Jeff Light had another good event, getting 3, with Jeff Hall getting 2 and Bob hitting 2 as well. This put them 5 th for the day. finish the event in a respectable time and despite the horrible Pigeon Board, manage to pull off the win and getting the gold. C also had a good event and ran
