Thanks so much to all our amazing volunteers who helped out with Eastern Sectionals! This was a time to shine for our gym to other local clubs, and because of you all, we did just that! We re grateful for such an amazing team of parents who always rise to the occasion when we ask for help! Our sincere thanks to you all! 2017 Show Schedule Celebrating the Stars Our Year End Show is just around the corner! Please click on the link below to see when your child is performing. NOTATE INFORMATION FOR CLOSED DRESS REHEARSAL TIME AND DATE 4. NOTATE SHOW TIME AND DATE Please note Team Show Level 3-10 is Thursday June 15th at 5:30pm and they will also perform at every show on Saturday June 17th. Practice schedule for team members L3-10 to be sent separately. In just a few short weeks (May), our SUMMER SCHEDULE for recreational and team classes in all of our disciplines (gymnastics, cheer, and dance) will be released. It is highly recommended to register for one or both sessions of summer classes in order to maintain your athlete's strength & skills, especially if it their coach is recommending your child move up a level in the fall. You can also sign up for Gymnastic JO Team, Gymnastic Xcel Team, and Cheer Team Tryout Camps. You can also sign up for invitation only Specialty Classes Dynamini, Dynamighty & Dynamo, as well as boys pre-team. These invitations will be going out before the end of the month. If you are interested in the competitive track, please ask your coach if specialty groups would be a good fit. Friendly Reminders COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP is this Sunday, April 23 from 1-3 pm. Meet at the gym and help spruce up the surrounding neighborhood. New Parkour Class offered this summer! Meet the instructors on May 6th for a free class from 2:30-3:30 pm. Releases must be filled out prior to participating. Children need to wait in the vestibule for their rides, even in the nice weather. Please remember, the loading zone in front of the doors is for drop-off/pick-up only. Please no idling cars and drive slowly through the parking lot. Be sure to check and make sure your child brings their own things home. If they accidently bring something else home, please be courteous and return it. If your child is missing items, please check the LOST & FOUND. Items will be donated on the 28th of each month.

Page 2 Athletes will begin working on skills and routines for the End of Year Show. It is going to be a great event! We are looking forward to highlighting all of our students' hard work and progress made this year. Picture week is this week. Please be sure your child only wears their Show Leo for OPEN GYM is every Saturday for 7+ years, and is available now for TWO SESSIONS: 9:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. AND 12:00-2:00 p.m. Cost is $10 per session- This is a great way to let your kids have extra practice time on their skills! Fitness OPEN WORKOUT- Get your workout in while your kids are in classes. For $20/month, you have full access to our fitness room located upstairs. Use as often as the gym is open. Ages 16 and up. Treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, free weights, stationary bikes, resistance stations, etc... Check it out! GYM FIT- Our very own Adana Harris, head coach of our girls team and owner of the gym, designed a fitness class for adults incorporating basics of gymnastics with strength training and conditioning. This class is offered at 7:00 a.m. on M, F, and 9:30 a.m. T, Th.. No matter your ability, stop by and join the fun of this unique class not offered anywhere else! You won t regret it! Recreational Gymnastics pictures and not again until the Year End Sow. Ask your coaches about Bring A Friend week the 1st week of May. April 22nd our Cheer Team is performing at Earth Day downtown and on May 13th they ll be performing at the Jr. Lilac Parade. If your athlete is interested in joining cheer or dance, please come support these two events and see what it s all about! The will be a FREE Dynamic Dailies PARKOUR CLASS on Saturday, MAY 6th, from 2:30-3:30 pm, to introduce a new class offered this summer and the instructors. Pre-registration & release form MUST be signed before class. Community Clean-up Day! We take pride in our gym and facility as well as in our community. Join us this Sunday, May 23 at the gym from 1 3 pm to help pick up winter garbage and spruce up the community near us! Summer registration is open on May 1st! Be on the lookout for classes, and see the announcement on page 1. ACTIVE LIFE LEARNING PRESCHOOL The preschoolers made their own paper Easter baskets this month and even got surprises in them when they went to take them home. We also had the letter R and everyone made Rocket Ships! SEASONAL CLASSES We will have seasonal classes such as Pilates, Step, Barre, and Aerobics throughout the year. Check with front desk for classes, times, and availability. ALL Preschool registration for 2017-2918 school year starts on May 1st

Issue 7 Page 3 Cheer Dynamic's All Star Competition Cheer Teams will be performing a competition and demo routine on Saturday, April 22nd down at Spokane's Earth Day Festival in Riverfront Park at 1pm. Come out and support Dynamic! Also, Dynamic's Competition and Recreational Cheerleaders will be performing along with some of Dynamic's dancers and gymnasts at Spokane's Jr. Lilac Parade on May 13, 2017. Please come watch the parade downtown at 10am and cheer for Dynamic's performers! All Star Cheer is seeking individuals to join next year's teams. If you enjoy dance, tumbling, and competing, as well as performing as a team, then All Star Cheer would be perfect for you! Cheer Camp and Tryouts will be June 19-21st and practices begin in July. See the front desk for an info packet and more details. We look forward to seeing you at camp--find out if you will be Team Heat, Shockwave, or Explosion! Cheer and Dance are both participating in "Bring a Friend Week" in May! Pre-K Gym Wiggle Worms Dance For the month of April, the preschool and combo dance class theme is "River Dance!" We're exploring the creative movements of river animals, such as the frog, turtle, and river otter. Some of our Ballet students will be joining other Dynamic teams down at Riverfront Park on Saturday, April 22nd to perform at Spokane's Earth Day festival. Come see them perform at 1pm! Our tap classes are having a blast this month. Dynamics's Level 1/1+ Tap class is learning a routine to "Better When I'm Dancin'," which was featured on the Peanuts movie last year. These girls have been working on their time step basics, the "Shirley Temple," and have an awesome train step already. Our preschool combo Tap classes' choreography is to "Cute Little Tapping Mouse," and they certainly are the cutest mice you'll ever see! Watch for the summer class schedule coming out on May 1st! We'd love to have your little dancer join us for tap, jazz, ballet, or hip hop this summer! In the preschool gym last week, the kids all did an Easter egg hunt to practice for when the Easter bunny delivered real candy and eggs for them on Easter. We are also busy working on fancy tricks getting ready for the Year End Show! Registration for Summer Classes or our Active Life Learning Preschool begins May 1st. Don t forget, it s Picture Week! Page 4 Team Gymnastics-All We ve had a great meet season so far! We re nearing the end, but the final meets we have are big ones! Congrats to everyone for all their hard work, perseverance, and victories! Team Make-up classes will be the 1st Saturday of the month from 2:30-4:30. Sign up with your coach. Dynamic Dailies Junior Olympics (JO)-Hot Shots BOYS- Nationals May 11-14 Florida GIRLS- Compulsory State April 21-23 Congrats to all our gymnasts for their hard work and perseverance this year! We had many athletes who placed on individual events and had their personal bests! See page 5 for a listing of some of those accomplishments! We are so proud! Special congrats to Kenzie who qualified for Western Nationals and Gina who also qualified for Western Nationals and is the Regional AA champ! Congrats ladies! Also, a special congrats to Gianni for qualifying for men s Nationals in Florida on High Bar!

Some of our Girl Team Results: Regionals in Boise, Idaho was a huge success for the girls! Athletes competed against the best athletes from Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Alaska & Hawaii. Level 8 results: - Jocelyn -4th AA, 2nd beam, 4th floor & bars - Sophia- 3rd Beam, 6th floor - April- 1st Vault - Shae -7th floor - Rylin- 3rd bars - Abigail-7th floor - Cierra- 9th vault Level 9 results: - Gina - Western National Qualifier Regional AA champ & also highest AA of all level 9 athletes, regardless of age. Vault 4th, Bars Regional champion, Beam 3rd, Floor 3rd - Kenzie - Western National Qualifier Vault 7th, Bars 7th, Beam 9th, Floor Regional floor champion Some of our Boy Team Results: State and Regionals, both in Everett, were two more great meets for the boys all around. Some people had their best meet of the year and accomplished personal goals even when they didn t medal. Level 4s who qualified for Regionals (1st time they ve ever been allowed to) Jeb, Jevan, Eden, and Trandyn.
