Temporary Tournament Area Temporary Tournament Area would be located on the 3 rd floor of Parx East adjacent to the Poker Room Currently, the tournament space is the Racing Simulcast Area Racing Simulcast Area is currently open on live race days only Racing Simulcast Area will not be open between August 10 th and August 24 th because Parx Racing does not conduct live races during this time of year 5
Temporary Tournament Area Parx Casino is requesting permission to temporarily transform the Racing Simulcast Area into tournament space There will be no effect on racing or simulcast wagering Simulcast wagering will still be available on the 1 st floor of Parx East and in the Simulcast Area of Parx Casino
Tournament Tables Parx Casino purchased thirty (30) standard tournament tables from Gaming Partners International (GPI) Generic Tables with PGCB approved felts Fold down legs Railing No drop box No shuffle machine Plastic float to hold cards during tournament
Tournament Structure 15 Individual Tournaments Only Texas Hold em All Tournaments start at 12:00pm Buy-in s range from $200 to $1,850 Entry Fees range from $30 to $150 Main event is on August 20 th, 2011 Buy-in of $1,850 Entry Fee of $150 Temporary Tournament Area will have only non-value chips 8

Tournament Summary Each tournament will be held in the temporary tournament area with the Parx Poker Room being used for overflow The Buy-in will be conducted at the existing simulcast windows, which will act as poker registration area Winning players will be paid at the poker cage in the Poker Room which is adjacent to the temporary tournament area All cash procedures follow existing gaming regulations and approved internal controls 10
Security Plan One Security Officer at each entrance of the Tournament Area One security Officer at the simulcast windows for tournament registration and buy-in One security officer inside the tournament area as a rover Food and alcohol will be available for purchase only None of the events will be televised 11
Surveillance Plan Ten (10) PTZ cameras will be installed for the temporary tables Six (6) Fixed cameras will be installed in the tournament area Two (2) Fixed cameras and Two (2) PTZ cameras will be installed at the existing simulcast windows that are acting as poker registration area Surveillance coverage of the tournament area will be conducted 24 hours a day until the completion of the last event 12
Staffing Approximately 210 dealers will be utilized for the tournament 160 dealers from Parx Casino s existing staff 50 dealers from external sources (i.e., schools and competitors) Dealers will receive a standard gaming license 13
Parx Open Poker Classic Parx Casino requests Board approval to designate non-gaming floor space in its licensed facility to conduct the Parx Open Poker Classic Parx Casino requests authorization to conduct the Parx Open Poker Classic in the designated non-gaming floor area and in the Parx Poker Room Parx Casino requests that the Board designate an employee of the Board and delegate appropriate authority to him or her to oversee the tournament pursuant to 4 Pa. C.S. 1321A(b) Parx also request that future tournaments utilizing the designated space be subject to approval through delegated authority to the Executive Director or other member of Board staff.
