Wear your favorite PJs and bring your favorite bedtime friend to school. Field Trip, Fall/Harvest, Feelings, Church, Family, LETTERS Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Zoo-phonics? It is a fun, tactile, way for your preschooler to learn his/her letters: Aa (Allie alligator) Extend arms forward, one over the other, to form an alligator s mouth. Open and close your hands/arms and say the letter sound a. Bb (Bubba bear) Reach your hand above your head to an imaginary honeycomb. Bring a fistful of honey to your mouth as a bear would do, but don t touch your mouth, and say the letter sound b. Cc (Catina cat) Pretend you are a cat washing your face with your paw, and say the letter sound c. Dd (Deedee deer) Use two fingers of each hand to form deer ears on your head and say the letter sound d. Ee (Elle elephant) Clasp your hands together in front of you, then swing your arms from side to side as if they were a trunk or take one arm and swing it to your mouth, as if Ellie were feeding herself a peanut while saying the letter e. Ask them to show you their letters. It s fun!

But then she said, Please come and play. I found a friend at school today. We played a game, and poured some tea, She shared her favorite toy with me. She drew a house, I drew a tree, She wrote an A, I wrote a B. We went outside, she climbed too high, She called, Come up, but I felt shy. And later, when we said goodbye, I felt like I was going to cry. But as she left, she stopped to say, Tomorrow we will sing and play. And then she waved and walked away. I found a friend at school today!
