Ad must be as brief as possible, humour helps. ON THE RIGHT TRACK with ID Super Harvey McIntyre The May 2007 ID meet was held at and hosted by the Erin Mills Model Railroad Club. The meet consisted of five clinics and finished at 3:00 pm. The May 12, 2007 Meet will be held jointly with the Golden Horseshoe Chapter of CARM and the Niagara Chapter of The Canadian Historical Railway Association. The meet is set to be held at the museum at Lock 3 of the Welland Canal in St. Catharines. The meet will consist of three clinics in the morning followed by a layout tour in the St. Catharines area in the afternoon followed by a get together at a local restaurant, if you wish to attend. The kick-off meet following the summer has not been determined yet. (see the update on page 6 ed.)we are hoping to have the first meet in October, the weekend following the Canadian Thanksgiving Day. It has been decided by the executive to have fewer meets during the season due to smaller turnouts at some of our meetings and a lack of a full executive to arrange and organize the meets. The position of Assistant Superintendent has been accepted by George Ziemer. George will be a welcomed asset to the ID, welcome aboard George. The positions of Registrar and Clerk are open an need to be filled. Volunteers will be greatly welcomed.
