This can be done up to two weeks in advance for a maximum of one and a half hours per Member on weekdays and one hour per Member at weekends. INFORMATION 2018 FLOODLIT ARTIFICIAL CLAY COURTS We have four floodlit artificial clay courts that are available all year round and provide a slightly slower surface that allows you to concentrate on technique and are floodlit for use after dark. INDOOR COURTS We provide three indoor carpet courts. To protect the surface and reduce the risk of injury only recognised indoor tennis shoes may be used on this surface. GRASS COURTS Our six grass courts provide a fantastic opportunity to play on traditionally the fastest surface. They are normally available to play on from May to September (weather permitting) and are open from 11.00am until sunset each day. Only recognised tennis clothing and shoes may be worn on the grass courts. Please note that the grass courts will have restricted access for a week in June for The Boodles tournament. TENNIS RACQUET RE-STRINGING AND RE-GRIP SERVICES Did you know that you should change your strings and re-grip as many times per year as the weeks you play? Prices start from 15 for re-stringing and from 5 for re-gripping. Please call 01753 717173 for details or ask at Spa Reception. CODE OF PRACTISE Code of conduct for players in representative teams: All players should wear predominantly white with white tops being compulsory. All Stoke Park players should arrive for a match a minimum of 10 mins prior to the start time, please allow extra time for travel to away matches. Players should remember at all times that they are representing Stoke Park, although we want positive/strong/winning play, Stoke Park will not tolerate aggressive behaviour on or off the court at any time. With line calls, try to be courteous with the opposition. Respect whose line call it is and replay the point if necessary. Team players should always try and stay for team teas after the match out of courtesy to the opposition. PlaySight is available on Court 3 of our indoor courts. Watch yourself play back on video Analyze your game on 3D graphical display Challenge your opponent with automatic line calling Get your serve speed and mileage Get Pro level stats after every match and training Track, share and compare your activities online at playsight.com the social network for athletes Turn training and matches into a more exciting and challenging experience Simple and easy to use with no preparation or special equipment required CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS The Club Championship is played between March and July with the final taking place on at the beginning of July. Full rules and entry details are available on request.

TENNIS ETIQUETTE Please make sure play has finished before you enter the courts. Always walk behind the court netting. Members are requested to wear recognised tennis clothing when playing tennis. Recognised tennis footwear must be worn on all of the tennis courts (not cross-training or running shoes). Non-marking soled tennis shoes must be worn in the indoor courts. All Tennis and Health Members must register their guests on arrival at the Pavilion Reception for gym, pool, classes and tennis use with their Membership card and pay for their guests to enter. Members will be suspended for a minimum of two weeks for not registering and/or paying for guests. The grass court nets will not be raised until the courts are playable. All courts must be booked, in person or by telephone, and this can be done up to two weeks in advance: for a maximum of one and a half hours during the week and for one hour on weekends. Tennis and Health Members must be present with their guests at all times of play. Please keep mobile phones on silent mode. In the first event of a Member not showing for a booked tennis court, a warning letter will be sent. If that person fails to cancel or use a court a second time, a 20 fine will be charged to the levy. Further court bookings will not be possible until this fine has been paid. In the event of any further courts not being cancelled, the Member will be excluded from booking for a period of one month. If a Member cancels a lesson more than 24 hours in advance there will be no charge incurred, otherwise the full fee will still be debited from the Member s levy account. This charge also applies to no shows. Only Tennis and Health Members can make a reservation for a tennis court. Lessons must be paid for in advance at Pavilion Reception and the payment slip handed to the teaching professional upon arrival at the court as proof of payment. The Club reserves the right to withdraw the tennis facility, or aspects of the facility, at any time if it is believed that maintenance is required and/or the hosting of external events is taking place in the facility i.e. The Boodles Challenge in June.
