Answers 1. c. Both feet are on or behind the touch line when the throw is taken 2. b. The law is a ball that is deliberately kicked by a teammate to the goal keeper cannot be handled by the goalkeeper. Deliberately kicked means played with the foot. Kicked to the goalkeeper means only that the play is to or toward a place where the keeper can legally handle the ball. (Advice to Referees on the Laws of the Game). In summary, a ball played with the foot and is deliberately played to or toward a place where the goalkeeper can handle the ball cannot be handled by the goalkeeper. 3. a. A deflection is not a deliberate kick 4. a. There is nothing in the laws of the game that state how a ball has to enter the penalty area 5. b. The ball was last deliberately kicked by a teammate to an area where the goalkeeper could gather the ball and bring it into the penalty area. Since the ball is not in the penalty area, the goalkeeper cannot handle the ball. The infraction is handling and the restart is direct free kick where the goalkeeper touched the ball with their hands. 8. a. The goalkeeper released the ball before it crossed the penalty area line, they are allowed to kick the ball outside of the penalty area 9. b. Coaches are not allowed on the field while the ball is in play. Coaches should only be on the field to attend to an injured player after receiving permission from the referee. 10. c. 11. c. KMSL rules prohibit any slide tackling for U-7 through U-10. 12. b. As long as the ball is properly spotted and the referee has not stopped play for another reason, for example, to issue caution, the player does not have to wait for the other team to make a wall. 13. a. The intention of the rule is to get all players involved in the game and not have a player standing around waiting for the ball to come to them. 19. b.
