Stall and overnight fees are non-refundable if the horse is on the show grounds. Membership fees paid with entries are non-refundable. GAITED HORSES * A note about gaited horses: Gaited horses may ride in any division appropriate for their rider (Pro, Am, Youth), but will be judged on the Walk/Jog/Lope gaits defined in the test. If the gaited horse cannot jog, this may result in a very low score. We would hope the gaited horses wholeheartedly support the Gaited Test Division, which is designed specifically for the gaited horse. Rider Division Definition Open Adult professionals (An individual who makes his/her living instructing or training in the industry) Amateur Adults (non-pro) and Youth may enter Youth 17 and under (An individual who has not reached his/her 18th birthday as of January 1st of the current competition year) Find all Cowboy Dressage Rules, Tests and Score Sheets, Call Sheets, videos and information: www.cowboydressage.com/competition.html AWARDS AND PRIZES Ribbon awards will be available for pickup outside the show office after the scores for all the rides in that class are tallied. Riders may pick up their test score and judges remarks at that time. Please do not pick up any tests or ribbons other than your own. Prizes will be presented after the last ride of the show. We ask that all competitors stay until after the prize presentation is complete to help acknowledge their fellow riders. Ribbons awarded to places 1 6 in each class High Point Open: Buckle Reserve High Point Open: Ribbon Amateur High Point: Buckle Reserve High Point Amateur: Ribbon

High Point Youth: Buckle Reserve High Point Youth: Ribbon Soft Feel High Point: Ribbon Overall high single score: Ribbon Judges Award for most improved rider: Ribbon Honorary High Score Awards (Only One Per Rider) High Score Veteran: Ribbon High Score Cancer Survivor: Ribbon High Score Silver Rider (60 Years & Older): Ribbon High Point Award Calculations and Eligibility Requirements: High Point Awards: Goes to the individual with the highest total score for a four ride average score for both days. To qualify for High Point Pro and Amateur rider must ride a total of six tests per horse/rider combination. Youth must ride a total of four. Reserve will go to the second highest total average score for both days. Ties will be broken by using the highest score found on any of the four tests used in the averaging for each rider involved in the tie. A class with only one participant does not count toward High Point awards but does count toward High Score awards. Honorary High Score: Awards will be given to those, regardless of rider division, who have declared a Veteran, Cancer Survivor, or Silver Rider on the registration form. Overall High Single Score: Award will be awarded to the individual who has the highest single score (percentage given by judge on each test). Freestyle, Partnership and Walk/Walk do not count toward high point or high score. CALLERS The riders are encouraged to memorize their tests. The use of a caller is not mandatory. ORCWDA allows the rider to use a caller of their choice; however, the ultimate responsibility for accurate and correct riding of the test falls upon the rider. We highly recommend that the caller practice with the rider beforehand in order to provide a flawless test call on the day of the show. If the rider chooses to use a caller, it is the rider s responsibility to arrange for one. ORCWDA will provide a caller. Check in with Denise Blacklaw at the show and she will add you to her list. Please note that we will be offering a maximum of 63 ride slots for each day so reserve your slots early. Once all the ride slots are filled, we will no longer be able to take more entries.
