Anchor Clubs and Sponsor Pilot Clubs Grassfield High School Luncheon Pilot Club of Chesapeake Great Bridge High School Pilot Club of Chesapeake Hickory High School Pilot Club of Chesapeake Hickory Middle School Luncheon Pilot Club of Chesapeake Lakeland High School Pilot Club of Suffolk Sullivan East High School Pilot Club of Bristol Tennessee High School Pilot Club of Bristol Leap Into Service Event Stations Students will select three of the following six activities, all promoting teamwork, communication, trust, encouragement and idea-sharing. Brainminders Students will be introduced to the program utilized by Pilot to promote brain safety and have the opportunity to deliver the script with the puppets. Pen Pal/ Note Cards Students will write letters to students in Joinville, Brazil and also make original note cards for distribution to the local nursing homes and Wounded Warriors. Skin care Students will learn about how best to care for their skin and nails. Yoga Students will learn a few basic exercises. Karaoke/choreography Students will choose to sing or dance to the song from Grease, We go together. Fashion Show As a service project, students will bring gently used, unusual, contemporary clothing items to be donated to Union Mission. They will have the opportunity to produce a fashion show using some of these pieces. Anchor Clubs are found throughout the United States, Japan and the Bahamas. These clubs take many forms some are affiliated with schools (elementary, middle and high school, colleges) and some are community-based. Some are large and some are small but one thing is true of all club members they serve because they want to make a difference.
