FHS Varsity Competition Squad Contract 2016 2017 Congratulations! You have been selected for the 2016 2017 FHS Varsity competition squad. By accepting this position, you will be held to the highest expectations with your talent, commitment, and performance on and off the mat. If at any point, the coaches feel you are not fulfilling your duties as a Varsity Competition Squad Member, you will be made an alternate or moved to the Junior Varsity squad for more training. Duties include, but are not limited to: 1. Being on time and attending EVERY practice. If you miss 2+ practices over the summer, you will be cut from the FHS Cheer program. 2. Perfecting routines and choreography 3. Continued dedication to improving and maintaining skills OUTSIDE of practice as designated by the coaches (gymnastics, tumbling, stunts, motions, etc). Please note, if you lose a skill or do not meet the projected skill designated by the coaches, then you will be demoted to the JV squad. 4. Performing to the standard set by the coaches and choreographer. By signing and accepting this position, you understand that you may be moved to Junior Varsity without any notice, based solely on the coach's decision. This means you may be removed from the Varsity squad or any Varsity performance up until the day we have completed our UCA Nationals competition, Feb. 12, 2017. If removed (not because of a team violations/rule), you will be allowed to attend the event, however, you will not be allowed to perform any routine. I, (cheerleader), understand and agree with the above and accept the position, with these terms, as an FHS Varsity competition cheerleader. I, (parent/guardian), understand and agree with the above and accept the position offered to my daughter, with these terms, as an FHS Varsity competition cheerleader.

Because of logistics, flying is highly unlikely.**
Cost for each cheerleader based on quad housing is $1400 per girl. Once you have paid for your trip, you will not be refunded, even if you are removed from the performance. The following payment plan will be offered: $500 by August 31st $500 by Oct 31st $400 Dec. 1st If you prefer to pay the amount in full, we ask that you pay no more than $1000 and allow us time to get as much fundraising as possible before final payment is made. If you would like to pay in full and donate your fundraising to another cheerleader, we will gladly accept that payment and apply your fundraising dollars to a cheerleader who may need a little assistance with the trip. Note Coach Woodward arranges all financial assistance and it is kept completely discrete. Remember, we will be fundraising throughout the year. Our goal is to assist every family financially. Fundraising is mandatory for all cheerleaders. We will have a better idea of total money raised before final payments are due. All competition cheerleaders and alternates will be required to stay in designated, quad occupancy rooms. Only non competition cheerleaders will be allowed to stay with their family.
