Competition A - Dressage Dressage Revision/up-grade of current Dressage Tests - Shorter Dressage tests for CAI1* and CAI2* (approx. 5 minutes)

Competition B - Marathon Proposal B Two sections Marathon Lengthen the Section A round about 1 km and reduce the speed to 13 km/h; the scoring referring time allowed and minimum time stay like it is. Combined Marathon-Cones CAI1* Combined marathon - cones - A maximum of Two Marathon type obstacles - 8-12 cone-type obstacles Maximum Distance Minimum Distance Pace 800 m 600 m free The TD/CD will determine the maximum time allowed and the width of the cones.

Competition C - Cones Competition C Cones Proposals to make cones more attractive: Width of Cones can be different, options and alternatives are welcome Design of the course (flower islands, fountain/water islands, up to 3 portable marathon obstacles) Use of the Marathon carriage in Cones for safety reasons and for more attractive performances

Competition C - Obstacle Cone Driving Competition C Obstacles COMPETITION WITH A WINNING ROUND (new additional proposal) Description This Competition consists of two parts with different valuations. The first part may be used for all Combined Competitions. Competition Conditions The first part is run according to the Rules for a Fault Competition with a Time Allowed (s. Art. 946-949)and the second part is run according to the rules of a Time Competition (s. Art. 952) Obstacles The first part is a normal Course as laid down in the Rules. The second part may be shorter but not by more than 50%. The Course for the second part (Winning Round) may be built at another time (or day) and another place and may be of a complete new design. The winning Round is not considered to be a Drive Off.

Competition C Obstacles Athletes The number of the Athletes competing in the Winning Round is laid down in the schedule The starting order in the Winning Round is the same as in the initial round. Penalties The Athletes carry their penalties of the initial round as penalty seconds forward to the Winning Round where only penalty seconds are incurred. Classification The Athletes are placed according to their Total Time; this is the driven time plus penalty seconds for knock downs etc and exceeding time in the Winning Round. Actual penalties from the initial round converted into penalty seconds will be added afterwards to the result of the Winning Round and all together form the Total Time.

Competition C Obstacles Further changes for Obstacle/Cones Athletes carry their penalties from the initial round as penalty seconds forward to the Winning Round. The Winning Round is run as Time Competition Athletes are placed according to their driven time in the Winning Round added with the penalty seconds in both rounds.

Scoring Scoring - Considering a proposed change for the future of the scoring. One Option: - relate back to seconds rather than points
