Worth Info 2 Shreveport Results 5-6 Summerville 4 2005 Schedule 3 SASBA SC 3 Red Hat Info 3 Tournament & Executive Director: President: Jamie Brooks Rick Talley Vice Presidents: Richard Britton David Zappitelli Secretary: Mark Estes Internet Manager: C.J. Johnson Director at Large: Robert Gibbs General Counsel: Marshall Medlin SASBA South Central Dir: Jim Kimg Jim Ensminger nabbed the Ebonite Senior Tour Tournament in Shreveport. It was amazing that Jim won on a shot that favored going straighter. The back end were tight and a ball that was hooking on the end had a hard time knocking the corners out. Great bowing Jim!!! Mark Estes finished second giving Ensminger a run for his money. Colin Kyle had a great tournament finishing third, Sal Turano was fourth, and Gary Pfeil got the fifth spot. Shawn Rasti made his first finals by just Jamie s Tournament Notes Bill Anderson and Doyle Harris bowled 128 low game of the tournament to share the dog of the week award. Mike Broussard and Leo Plaia rode together to the tournament and they both left the lily. Claude beat Syd, again. I got to cross with Billy bombing the pins Sunday morning. Shawn has really improved and he credits Mike Lewis and Bill Lish for the improvement. Jim King had a four way bypass and a valve replacement in South Haven, Mississippi. He endured a heart attack at dinner celebrating being married to Kathy for two years. I talked to Jim Sunday and he is coming along just fine. Our Masters tournament will be in Fort Worth November 12-13th. This is an all Hargett and boy did he throw a bunch of Thunderstrikes. Dale Dumbleton had two 299 games, one in the sweeper and one in the tournament and missed the finals by two pins. Don Wall lost his wheel Sunday morning. John Precourt was the only winner at the Casinos! match play event. We need a minimum of 48 bowlers in the Super Senior and Senior qualifying to make the rotation work. This is a great fun event, make your plans to enter. The Super Seniors will bowl the A squad and the Seniors will bowl the B Squad, both days. The qualifying is separate, then in the finals, the divisions will be combined after the first round. Our next tournament is Longview, see ya there!! John Woessner got his first Super Senior check. Bob Freehauf celebrated his 70th birthday Sunday, SASBA bought him a cake, and he was serenaded by a group of SASBA wives. He only could muster one double in four games Sunday.
