CONCLUSION Being a Warrior is not just playing Waterpolo, you join a community of families who enjoy and support each other and their children in a dynamic sport. We foster respect and participation, not only in the water and poolside with our coaches, managers and referees, but in supporting the club, our sponsors and alliances. The committee works tirelessly throughout the year to ensure we are providing our members with opportunities to improve, grow and represent playing Waterpolo. This year we are introducing specialist clinic nights (sponsored by the Carina Leagues Club) separate to any team training, and age specific on Wednesday nights. All teams will get the opportunity to attend these sessions several times throughout the season. This will also be a fantastic opportunity for our coaches to upskill and learn from all the coaches being invited to take the sessions. More information will come out about this soon. Brisbane Water Polo have increased their team participation fees this season, this is to cover the increased cost of pool hire, referees and to replace time clocks and other equipment required for the season to go ahead successfully. Work hard at the clinics and be prepared to learn, I look forward to a successful year and many more teams participating in finals. GO WARRIORS!!! Veronica Cook PRESIDENT 6
