Just like last year, we will be parking in the Aquarium Parking Structure (labeled as TOYOTA SQUARE on the map). Enter off of Chestnut Ave. Note 2 critical things: 1) You must have a parking pass to park here. 2) Access to the garage stops at 6:00AM because to get to the garage you must cross the track surface. As with all Pro Races, the schedule is a thing in concrete. We cannot start late. Morning meetings will be held promptly at 5:45 every morning in the SCCA WORKER COMPOUND, which is right next to the Aquarium Parking structure (labeled as the Toyota Square on the map). Cal Club traditional donuts and coffee will be available to make this early hour a little more bearable. Check in with your Specialty Chief. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO BE AT EACH MORNING MEETING. DO NOT BE LATE!

A traditional Long Beach event, the Thursday just before the event is a fun day as the F&C Community and Emergency Team get things ready. From rigging Tow Trucks, to filling up water buckets to cutting holes in the fence to set up the turn stations. It has become a social work program that allows everyone to walk the track, helping build the turn stations, rig the equipment. Often we are joined by drivers, etc. who are out trying to get an early insight on the course. Plans are to meet in the Worker Compound @ 9:00AM on Thursday the 12 th of April. A great way to kick off the Race Weekend, Cal Club has made arrangements to host a WELCOME PARTY at the Rock Bottom Brewery on Ocean, just up from Turn 8 see the attached Party Add. As for all of the Long Beach information, if you have any questions, needs, or desires, please call, write, e- mail your Chief. If that doesn t work, e- mail me and I ll do what I can to help: Ceci Smith e: lbgpvolunteer@gmail.com
