Fishing Vessels (F/V) The local F/V Game On is at dock waiting for the storm front to pass. They are hoping to get out fishing come first of the week. The local F/V Charleston Star is still taking a break for their crew. We do not have a definitive time frame of when they will get back out fishing. The local F/V Ellen Jean just landed at dock yesterday from a 3 day trip. They unloaded a beautiful shipment of Local Swordfish including one 345 lb. Pumpkin Swordfish!! They will not be able to get back out until first of the week. The local F/V Still Fishing is at dock waiting for the storm front to pass through. They are hoping to get out fishing come first of the week. The local F/V Bonsai is at dock waiting for the storm front to pass through. They are hoping to get out fishing come first of the week. The local F/V Oxbow is expected to land at dock today with Local Wreck fish and possibly some Barrel fish as well. They will not be headed back out until mid-week next week. Notes Due to the Storm Front halting nearly all local fishing production, we are bringing in some beautiful Caribbean snapper out of the Atlantic side of Florida. They will be coming in at 4-6 lbs. and 6-12 lbs. Beautiful Wild caught Speckled Trout are coming in today from North Carolina at an average weight of 3-6 lb. fish. Absolutely gorgeous Striped bass, a.k.a. Rockfish, have been coming in steadily from up-east and have been an average weight of between 10-20 lb. fish. For all St. Helena Salt SC oyster and Devil Shoals NC oysters customers, they have been selling out as fast we can bring them in as a result we are asking for all orders to be placed by Friday for the following Wednesday to help us ensure we can accommodate all inventory needs. We are bringing in more Red, Black, and Scamp Grouper from Florida to have a sufficient supply of grouper on hand. The local shrimp are still pouring in the door in all sizes: 26/30, 21/25 and 16/20 s. Shipments have continued to come in nearly daily of each size. 20 lb. orders or more on local shrimp are subject to price reduction Plenty of P.E.I. Mussels, Clams, and Fancy Fresh Sea Scallops available with shipments coming in 3 times a week to ensure the up most quality. Local North Carolina handpicked fresh crabmeat Lump, Jumbo Lump, and Claw have all been coming in 3 times a week to ensure strictly the up most quality.
