Holiday dates 13 17 February Elthorne Sports Centre Active Sports Courses For ages: 4 14 years Day/s: Mon Fri Dates: 13 17 February Times: 9am 5pm (Full day session) 9am 1pm or 1pm 5pm (Half day sessions ) Cost: 9.70 ( 6.75 JLP), Half day 17.30 ( 12 JLP), Full day 73.50 ( 51.45 JLP) Full week Early Birds: 8.30 9am 3 extra Multi Sports 9am 1pm During this session children take part in fun warm up games, followed by a mixture of team and sports games plus art and craft activities. Outside we will have 5v5 fun and skill training on our new state of the art 4G Astro turf pitch. Outdoor activities may include tennis, rounder s, a treasure trail, and lots more. Lunch is at 12pm, so please provide your child with a packed lunch. All courses and tournaments will only run if a certain number of applications are received. Children s Recreation 1 5pm During the afternoon, activities may include: 3 bouncy castles, sporting skills sessions, mini tennis and badminton, beat the goalie, trampolining, and much more. We also have a gaming station, arcade dance mats that can hold more than 10 people at a time, giant connect 4 and art and craft stations. There will also be an opportunity to beat the staff at a game of your choice. Please be sure to provide enough food and drink for the duration of your child s stay. Activities are sports related so please ensure the appropriate sports wear is worn. Please note that all outdoor activities are weather permitting. Northolt High Sports Centre and Northolt Leisure Centre Active Sports Courses For ages: 8 14 years Day/s: Mon Fri Dates: 13 17 February Times: Cost: 10am 3pm 30.00 ( 18.00 JLP) per 5 day week. Active Ealing is running this multi sports session with the sporting activities held jointly at Northolt High Sports Centre. The week involves young people using facilities at both sites with fully qualified staff supervising and running all activities. Registration is every morning at NHSC followed by warm up games in the main sports hall. Swimming sessions are on Wednesday and Friday at NLC, followed by lunch before returning to NHSC. Mornings spent at Northolt High School SC consist of warm up games and sports coaching, including; football, basketball, trampolining, street dance, badminton and mini tennis. Afternoon sessions involve being put into teams and competing against each other in a number of different sports including; football, basketball, cricket, team races, volleyball, rugby and athletics. There is an opportunity to use the full size 3G all weather pitch during free time sessions after lunch and there will also be a separate room to have lunch and relax. Tuesday and Thursday afternoon will be spent at the dance studio. There will also be street dance, hip hop, aerobics, table tennis, martial arts and fun fitness sessions held in the community hall. On Friday afternoon a multi sports presentation with certificates and medals will be awarded. Please ensure that appropriate sports wear is worn and bring swimwear and a towel on Wednesday and Friday. A packed lunch and drink is required each day. A water fountain is on site at NHSC and can be used throughout the day. Please note that places are allocated on a first come, first serve basis and priority will be given to a week booking. Swimming Which class should I book on to? (See overleaf for Booking Form) Complete Beginners Classes These classes are for beginners who have not had lessons before, or needs to gain water confidence. Improvers Classes These classes are for children who are already able to kick on their front with their faces down, and kick on their back efficiently. Water Confident Classes These classes are for children who are at ease in the water. They should be comfortable with putting their faces in the water and floating on their backs with aids. Stroke Development Classes Theses classes are for children who are able to swim front crawl and backstroke. They will develop their strokes further and learn the breaststroke. Swimming Lesson Information All children must wear swimming hats for their lessons. Girls should wear full swimming costumes and boys should wear fitted trunks no baggy shorts. Goggles can not be worn unless it is for a medical condition. No refunds will be given for a course unless it is for medical reasons, which must be supported by a doctors/hospital note. 4 School s Out half term activities for kids
Crash courses in swimming Northolt Leisure Centre will be hosting Swimming Lesson Crash Courses for children aged 4 years and over. These lessons are of enormous benefit as they are held over 5 consecutive days. Southall Sports Centre Multi Sports Our multi sports activities are a great way for children to take part in fun sports and games, meet up with friends and make some new ones, all in a safe environment! In the mornings The morning will consist of fun warm up games and coaching in two sporting activities. In the afternoons In the afternoon it s fun and fitness all the way, with team games, sports and competitions including, dodgeball, relay races, quiz s and more. Also included is our arcade style Dance Mats where you can challenge up to 15 people at the same time with your dance moves! Daily Presentation All children receive certificates at the end of the week plus the opportunity to win Gold, Silver or Bronze medals or even a trophy. At the end of each day there will be a Star of the day award presented.
