Ring 1- Judge James Hunton Rings starts at 10am "This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Affiliation No. 18206 Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 30th August-1st September 2018. Shows held on or after the Postal Entry closing date of Championship Show will count as 2019 qualifiers. The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers 1 8. For full rulings and information on competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Members' Handbook; or visit www.chapsuk.com for rulings. Only Skewbalds/Piebalds may compete these classes. All stallions, 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring without exception Open to members and non members 1 CHAPS UK Open Youngstock Qualifier 1, 2 or 3 Year Olds no foal. Any type and height. 2 CHAPS (UK) Non-Native Open In-Hand Qualifier. Open to Non-Native type exhibits, any height, any age (No foals). To be shown plaited and trimmed. 3 CHAPS (UK) Native/Cob/Traditional Open In-Hand Qualifier. Open to Native, Cob, Show Cob, Traditional, and Vanner types, any height, any age (No foals). To be shown in natural state, or fully trimmed and hogged. 4 Novice Ridden Pony Qualifier Horses & ponies not to have been placed 1st in an Open ridden class before 1st January 2018. Any suitable bridle. 5 Novice Ridden Horse Qualifier Horses & ponies not to have been placed 1st in an Open ridden class before 1st January 2018. Any suitable bridle. 6 CHAPS (UK) Junior/ Intermediate Ridden Qualifier 4 years old and over. Open to any type of exhibit up to 158cms. Riders to be 14-25 years of age. 7 CHAPS (UK) Non-Native open Ridden Qualifier Open to any height, 4 years old or over. Exhibits will be required to perform an individual show and will not be ridden by the Judge. Lead Rein exhibits are not eligible for this class. To be shown plaited and trimmed

To be shown in natural state or fully trimmed and hogged **CHAPS (UK) Championship- 1 st and 2 nd prize winners from classes 1-8 are eligible to Judge James Hunton Classes not before 1pm 9 Ridden Thoroughbred Horse to be 4 years old and over- raced or unraced, will not be ridden by the judge The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be held at the East of England Showground on the 8 th 12 th August 2018. 10 EQUIFEST Open Ridden Mountain and Moorland Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Rider any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. Unregistered animals may compete but will not be able to take the Equifest qualification. 11 BLACK COUNTRY SADDLES EQUIFEST Ridden Hunters Open Ridden Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 153cms.Rider any age. Classes may be divided as follows: Lightweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying up to 12.7 stone. Middleweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying 12.7 stone but not 14 stone. Heavyweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over capable of carrying over 14 stone. 12 NUPAFEED / EQUIFEST RIDDEN COBS Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Riders any age. Classes may be divided as follows: Open Lightweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Open Maxi Cobs, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 155cms to be judged as Cobs. Riders any age.

Exhibits in this section must be registered in the Part Bred section of their respective Breed Society. Registration numbers must be stated on the entry form. Failure to do so may result in immediate disqualification. VHS Regional Final qualification. All competitors placed 1 st to 4 th in each Area Qualifier class will qualify for the corresponding class at VHS Regional Finals. Members must carry their card in the ring at all times and have their showing card signed by the judge as proof of qualification. Non-members will receive a red qualification card which can be exchanged for signed showing card when applying for VHS membership. It is the competitors responsibility to present their Showing card to the judge. Regional Finals are open to members only. All competitors are eligible to enter open classes at the National Veteran Championships, date to be confirmed. No qualification or membership necessary. See VHS website for schedule. Judge- Rachael Dudziak Classes not before 12pm TGCA TOYS In hand and Ridden Classes Pure Bred classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breed Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association s (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show TOYS. Classes are open to all pure bred traditional gypsy cobs. Stallions All stallions (pure or part bred, four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have be TGCA registered, have passed TGCA evaluations and their TGCA stallion disc displayed on their bridle. Stallions and colts over the age of two, MUST be shown in a stallion bridle with a metal bit and chain lead as per the current TGCA rulebook. Existing TGCA members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non-members will receive a qualification card from the judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. Any accident or injury must be reported immediately to the show secretary for inclusion in the accident book. * All competitors must follow instructions from stewards and show organizers anyone not following these instructions will be asked to leave. * Hats to British Safety Standards must be worn at all times when mounted, and handling for the ring. * Please do not muck out horse boxes onto the show field, take your litter home with you or use bins provided. * All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, owners responsible for removing any mess. * The judge s decision is final any objections must be made in writing within 30 minutes of the class with a 25 deposit (deposit will be refunded if the objection is upheld). * No refunds will be given on entries, entries may be transpired at the organisers discretion. * In the event of adverse weather we will hold classes in the indoor school with a revised show, classes may be amalgamated at the show organisers discretion. * If the show is cancelled a new date will be rearranged and pre- entries transferred, refunds on entries will only be given when requests are made in writing prior to the new date and with a deduction for secretarial fees. * All first and second place competitors in each ring must be available for the Championship in that ring * Robinson s Equi Teach reserve the right to amend the schedule change/cut classes for future dates if there is lack of interest in any class
