Prairie Bowmen M a r c h 2 0 1 5 President s Report We had our Annual Presidents Day target tournament this past weekend. With a good turnout of 35 competitive shooters plus some non comp shooters. I would like to thank all who helped out with the tournament. With turkey hunting season approaching people are getting ready to sight in their broad heads. Just a reminder there is absolutely NO broadheads to be shot at the indoor range. You can shoot them at the outdoor range into your OWN target. There are still a few weeks of indoor target league and 3D leagues so come on down and do some shooting before it's over. We have put in new targets and new lighting on the shooting line and in front of targets. We will be selling some Bulldog range targets. They are 50x50 if anyone is interested please call Trent @ 402-580-0803 Our annual banquet is coming up on March 7 th so please RSVP to pbarchery@gmail.com so we can make sure we have enough food for everyone. We are hoping for a great turnout of members. We will be hosting our annual IceBreaker 3d on March 28 th and 29 th. Come out and support the club. M a r c h 2 0 1 5 Greetings all PB members, hope everyone had a wonderful fall/winter hunting season. Many are anxious for spring turkey season to get underway because we are all stir crazy at this point. That s why there are winter indoor 3D s. As the bowhunter reps I and Roy Shelton would like to thank all of you for helping out with the winter indoor Thursday night 3D league and the Jan. 17/18 Indoor 3D. Couldn t do it without all of the help, so thanks again to all involved that helped. The Jan 17/18 3D public indoor went well, there were a total of 77 shooters. We also had variety of shooters, including all ages, and styles. Getting the families involved, and having fun, this is what Roy and I are striving for, the more (fun) the better. Right? We also had several positive responses on the social internet. The shoot went well, and thanks again to everyone who helped. PB s next 3D (outdoor) is March 28/29. Thursday night 3D league is in progress and going well, as there has been an average of thirty or so each night. This year we have three different father/daughter combinations and several other family/friend combinations shooting together. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, with some friendly completion here and there. Thursday night 3D league is run by Randy Bartelt, Bob Rau and Robin Ward, so if you get a chance please thank them. There are a few weeks left to get in on the Thursday night 3D s - the fun starts at 7:00. By Dave Standley Bowhunter Report New Combination The combination will be changed on Saturday, March 14th. The outdoor range and indoor range will both be changed to This new combination is for members in good standings, if the combination does not appear in the blank above, then your membership is past due.
