ReclinerGolf Overview: ReclinerGolf provides a simple and intuitive system to manage your fantasy golf league -- no matter how small or large. We offer several contest options that enhance member interest in the professional golf tournaments by connecting members with the professionals that play each week. Anything you want to know about your Fantasy League is readily available at the ReclinerGolf.com website. Standings, Statistics, Member Picks, links to helpful websites, and much more information is consolidated on the site. Other, more private, information is made available to members only. For corporate sponsors, ReclinerGolf.com functionality can be embedded into an existing website or new domain name. League Manager Accounts: ReclinerGolf.com requires a manager to setup and manage your Fantasy League. Setting up a League Manager Account is extremely easy and intuitive. Creating your Account and League should take no more than an hour. After that, just a few minutes after each tournament will be required. Some key decisions the league manager must make are: Tournaments to include in your fantasy league. The Prize Purse for each tournament. Number of tournaments in which picks cannot be duplicated. Ex: If the league manager sets this to 2, then if a member picks Jason Day for a tournament, he cannot pick Jason again for the next two tournaments. Type(s) of Competition (e.g. Team Golf and/or One & Done). More on this below Open or private league. Member Accounts: ReclinerGolf requires each member to setup an account. Member Accounts make it very easy to manage picks for each tournament. The member account provides access to information that is only available to members, including information that has been posted by the League Manager (rules, meeting info, league prizes, etc.). Members will receive email notifications so they don t miss pick deadlines. ReclinerGolfR9A Prepared by ReclinerGolf.com on April 11, 2015 Page 1
Fantasy League Formats: A league will have one of the following contest formats. Team Golf: Team Golf requires that each member of the fantasy league pick a team of golfers for each tournament. The league manager decides the size of the team. After each tournament, members receive the cash prizes awarded to each of their picks. If a member picks a golfer that doesn t make the cut, or, for whatever reason, does not play in or finish the tournament, that member will receive no prize money for that golfer. One & Done: With One & Done, each member picks one golfer for each tournament BUT can only pick a golfer once for the entire season. e.g. If a member picks Tiger Woods for the first Tournament, then that member can t pick Tiger again for the rest of the season. Each member will receive the fantasy prize money for their pick based on the purse and golfer finishing position for the tournament. Fantasy Prize Money: Tournament Purse Distribution: Members will be awarded the sum of all the fantasy prize money of their golfer picks. Figure 1 describes the prize distributed for each event as a percent of the Total Purse. Figure 1 Fantasy Prize Distribution Percent ReclinerGolfR9A Prepared by ReclinerGolf.com on April 11, 2015 Page 2
Figure 2 describes this distribution for an $8,000,000 tournament purse. Figure 2 -- $8,000,000 Fantasy Prize Distribution As can be seen from the figures, members that pick the golfer that wins the tournament, will receive a 10% bonus. Golfers that finish in 70 th place or higher receive a prize that is approximately 5% of the first place prize for that tournament. Member picks that do not make the cut, don t compete for any reason, or drop out, receive no prize money. Your League Manager Account: Creating a League Management Account: The League Manager will be responsible for defining the following prior to the first tournament. Open or Private Fantasy League: Open Leagues are open to anyone that wishes to join. Private Leagues are only open to the members that are approved by the league manager. To reduce the task of member approval, a "reference code" is needed to join a private league. The league manager is responsible for creating and distributing the reference code. Included Tournaments: The League Manager will select the Tournaments to be included in the fantasy league competition. ReclinerGolfR9A Prepared by ReclinerGolf.com on April 11, 2015 Page 3
Tournament Purses: The League Manager will determine the Total Fantasy Purse for each tournament. The purse will be distributed as shown in the following table. The following table shows the distribution for an $9,000,000 purse. Re-Pick Restriction: The League Manager will set the number of tournaments between which a member can pick the same golfer. Ex: If the league manager sets the Re-Pick Restriction to 2, then if a member picks Jason Day for a tournament, he cannot pick him again for the next two tournaments. If the league manager sets the Re-Pick Restriction to 0, then members can pick the same golfers for every tournament. ReclinerGolfR9A Prepared by ReclinerGolf.com on April 11, 2015 Page 4
Member Approval: Unless your Fantasy Golf League is open to everyone, the League Manager will need to approve the Members. Once a Member registers and enters the correct reference code, their names will show up in a list on the League Manager s Account. The League Manager simply needs to approve or deny the names in the list. The League Manager will be notified via email when a Member registers and the Member will be notified via email once they have been approved. Approved members will immediately show up in the Standings and other Reports on the sites. League Manager Maintenance Tasks: Golfer Field for Each Tournament: The list of golfers for each tournament will be entered by Recliner Golf as soon as they become publicly available. Typically, this list is available the Monday before the tournament begins. All members will receive an automated email when the field in entered or changed. Score Entry: Golfer scores for each tournament will be entered by Recliner Golf. Results and Standing will automatically be calculated and updated. Member Email Blasts: The League Manager can send email to individuals or the entire league. Since members are responsible to keep their email addresses up-to-date using their Member Accounts, this is one less maintenance task that the manager needs to perform. ReclinerGolf will send automatic email blasts such as Pick Deadline Warnings, Tournament Update Notifications, Purse Changes, etc. simplifying the job of managing a fantasy league. For this to work, it is VERY important to constantly remind members to keep their email addresses up-to-date using their Member Accounts. Library Content: The League Manager will be responsible for maintaining their League s PRIVATE documents. The PRIVATE documents are only available to League Members that are logged into their accounts. These documents must be pdf files. Their content is virtually unlimited but could include such things as: Member Rules Fantasy League Prizes Calendar of Events Member Contact Information ReclinerGolfR9A Prepared by ReclinerGolf.com on April 11, 2015 Page 5
Your Member Account: Creating a Member Account: Each Member is required to setup a Member Account prior to making tournament picks. It is very important to keep your email up-to-date so you will receive automated email such as status updates and deadline warnings. Joining Multiple Leagues: Members can join and manage multiple ReclinerGolf leagues with just one User Account. If you join multiple leagues, when you login you will be asked to select the league that you want to access. Failure To Make Picks By Deadline: For any member that fails to make picks by the deadline, ReclinerGolf will randomly select golfers that meet that member s re-pick restriction. It is obviously better to make your picks rather than letting the computer make random picks for you, but random picks are better than no picks. Team Golf Picks: Each member will select their team of golfers from the pull-down before the deadline for each tournament (typically midnight of the day before the tournament begins). Members can make selections prior to publication of the official list of golfer for each tournament. Once ReclinerGolf creates the official tournament list, if member picks are not included in the list, members will be notified via email. ReclinerGolf will not allow members to pick the same golfer if the Re-Pick Restriction has not been met. The Re-Pick Restriction will be set by the League Manager. It is the number of tournament between which a member can pick the same golfer. Ex: If the league manager sets this to 2, then if a member picks Jason Day for a tournament, that member cannot pick Jason again for the next two tournaments. If the league manager sets the Re-Pick Restriction to 0, then members can pick the same golfers for every tournament. One & Done: Each member picks one golfer for each tournament, BUT can only pick a golfer once for the entire season. Ex: If a member picks Tiger Woods for the first Tournament, then that member can t pick Tiger again for the rest of the season. The member will receive the prize money for his pick based on the purse for the tournament. Members can make selections prior to publication of the official list of golfer for each tournament. Once ReclinerGolf creates the official tournament list, if member picks are not included in the list, members will be notified via email.
