Elmhurst Little League has been a part of the Waynedale community for over 60 years. It continues to provide a safe and family friendly environment where children ages 4 to 18 can learn the value of citizenship, good sportsmanship, and teamwork, all while having fun. Elmhurst Little League is managed and staffed entirely by volunteer parents and friends who work hard at providing leadership and instruction to nearly 250 children each year. To make this happen, the league relies on the generous support of families and friends of the Waynedale/Fort Wayne Community. Mason Park is one of the nicest Little League locations in the city with approximately 20 teams, four diamonds, individual press boxes, and electronic scoreboards. Families and friends are welcomed with home and visitors bleachers and a great concession stand with some of the most family/friendly costs in the city. While Elmhurst Little League and Mason Park are amazing places for youth to play baseball, they cannot escape the cruelty of time. Therefore, the league has numerous needs to help keep the park in working order from season to season. This year, the major points of need are field lighting, roofing, field dirt, repairs to a dugout and a press box, and a few smaller repairs/replacements in the concession stand. Your tax deductible sponsorship support will not only help the league to offset the costs for the repairs listed above, but also help to provide uniforms, equipment, and seasonal maintenance to league families. On the following pages, please find information for the various levels of sponsorship. Without the support of the Waynedale Community, Elmhurst Little League would not be in existence today. FRIEND OF LITTLE LEAGUE $150 (20 available) Elmhurst Little League has a lot of families who struggle on a daily basis. The league tries to accommodate those that are less fortunate. However, with a minimal operating budget, the league is unable to ensure everyone will be able to play. For $150, you can sponsor a child who otherwise may not get the chance to play their favorite sport. Each sponsor will be listed on our league website as well under the FRIEND OF LITTLE LEAGUE section of our league program (sponsor has option of replacing company logo with coupon of company s choice).
OTHER SPONSORSHIP Every year, on Opening Day, the leagues holds a silent auction to raise money for various needs. In past years, these needs have ranged from raising money to help a player battling cancer to a ballpark improvement project. If you feel a financial commitment is not right for your organization, please consider donating an item to the silent auction. Elmhurst Little League has many repairs/work that need done at the diamonds each year. Another sponsorship opportunity would be a service-foradvertising agreement. If your company is willing to provide assistance in repairs or updates to the park for a discounted fee, Elmhurst Little League will provide some or all of the following: a banner on a field, recognition in the league program, recognition on the league website. Recognitions will be determined based on level of discount for services provided, but all sponsors have the option of placing a company coupon in the league program.
