The trainer of the winning entry in each class is eligible to win the additional $100.00 by simply signing the entry blank as trainer and MOST IMPORTANTLY entering by the deadline of July 14. CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES Post Entries in Championship/Stake Classes will not be taken later than 2 hours prior to the start of the session. Regular Entry Fees apply. Please enter but do not pay entry fees until day of the championship class. CLASS CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS The Horse Show Committee reserves the right to cancel any class where there are less than four entries (the property of different owners) and to combine or divide any class or classes, should the best interest of the show require it. In case of cancellation, entry fees shall be refunded. DISPUTES This show through its Horse Show Committee reserves the right to itself interpret all questions and conditions in regard to, or arising of, or incidents to, the Show, without claim for damages or recourse of any kind. No dispute will be discussed while the show is in session. ENTRIES The Horse Show Committee reserves the right to reject any entry. Entries at the regular fee must be postmarked no later than July 14, 2014. STALL FEES MUST ACCOMPANY entries and must be postmarked no later than July 14, 2014. All other fees must be paid by 7:00 p.m. August 2, 2014. POST ENTRIES will be accepted at regular entry fee plus $40.00 per class up to 5:00 PM each evening. PLEASE NOTE AND OBSERVE THIS DEADLINE. OFFICIALS If for any reason a judge cannot officiate, the Committee reserves the right to substitute. PRIZE MONEY Prize money will be paid by check drawn to the order of the exhibitor or payee designated on the entry form. Payment will be made when all accounts are settled with the Shelbyville Horse Show. Please indicate on the entry form to whom checks are payable. If you would like to donate your prize money back to the Shelbyville Horse Show in the form of a sponsorship for 2014, there is a place to indicate this on the entry blank. PROTESTS A protest must be in writing, signed and accompanied by a deposit of $450.00 (if check, payable to The Shelbyville Horse Show). The protest must be received by a member of the Show Committee, the Show Manager or the Show Secretary within 48 hours of the occurrence of the alleged violation. If the protest is sustained, the deposit shall be returned; if not sustained, the deposit shall be forfeited to The Shelbyville Horse Show. In case the protest is sustained, the entries standing next in award will move up accordingly. RING PROCEDURES The Gate of the Show Ring will be closed two minutes after the first horse enters the ring. Any exhibitor not in the ring by that time will not be admitted. RULES This Horse Show will be conducted in the spirit of the United States Equestrian Federation CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS Exhibitors canceling entries in writing prior to the closing date of entries (July 14) shall be entitled to a full refund. Exhibitors canceling entries in writing after July 14 and before August 1 shall be entitled to a refund on all fees less $30.00 handling charge only if supported with a Veterinarian Certificate giving comprehensive diagnosis. NO STALL REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER July 30 UNLESS STALLS CAN BE RESOLD. 5
THE SHELBYVILLE HORSE SHOW POLICY ON ADDING CLASSES The Shelbyville Horse Show will honor the request to add classes if the following requirements are met. A $5,000 deposit is to be made to The Shelbyville Horse Show to guarantee that there will be at least 8 entries in the class if there are, $3,000 of the deposit will be returned, if not the deposit is forfeited to the Shelbyville Horse Show.
