Chris Murphy Executive Director Coastal FC Schedule of Events Pre Competition Meeting The pre-competition meeting is scheduled as follows: Pacific Inn and Convention Centre 1160 King George BLVD Surrey, BC Time: 7:00PM Cote D Azure Room Opening Ceremonies The opening ceremonies will occur as follows: July 9 th 09:00 South Surrey Athletic Park Teams are asked to arrive at 08:30 and check in at the tournament headquarters. Teams should be fully dressed in a consistent team uniform or tracksuit, suitable for the weather conditions. The opening ceremonies should take no more than 45 minutes and will start promptly. o BC Soccer Teams paraded off the field More specific instructions will take place at the pre-competition meeting. Your cooperation to organize your teams will allow us to move through the ceremony very quickly. Closing Ceremonies The closing ceremony and medal presentation will occur on SSAP 6 (west of SSAP 7). Teams should proceed immediately at the conclusion of their game. Change Rooms There are two change rooms to be shared amongst all teams. These are available on a first come, first served basis. One change room will designated for female teams and one specifically for male teams. Signage will indicate this.
Teams are asked to use the change rooms quickly and not for team preparation/meetings. You will be able to use the bench/technical areas for pre/post game team meetings. Technical Areas All technical areas will have a bench for players and shelter/tent. Additionally, there will be a garbage can at the middle of the technical area for trash and recycling. We would ask that all teams clean up their bench/technical area at the conclusion of each game. Your cooperation is appreciated. Event Merchandise Event souvenirs and merchandise will be available on site by Fine Designs. Teams can review the attached brochure or visit their kiosk on site during the competition. It is recommended to order merchandise early in the competition as styles and sizes may be limited. Facilities Coastal FC is pleased to offer some of the finest facilities in Canada and South Surrey Athletic Park. Games will be played on a mix of natural and synthetic surfaces. Teams should be prepared to play on either surface, for any game in the competition. Wings Grill (hot dogs, hamburgers, etc) TNT Wraps (Greek style wraps and pitas) Club concession (water, drinks, basic snacks)
Medical Morgan Crossing Sports Medicine Clinic will provide on site physio and athletic therapy. Services will be provided at the designated area on the field map. Because the fields are spread across the park, the therapists will not respond to in game injuries. Players must go to the medical tent for treatment. If the player is unable to walk to the medical tent, please have your team manager communicate with the closest field marshal. Ice for injuries will be available at the medical tent. Please send your team manager to pick up a bag of ice as required. Pre-game treatment and taping will occur on a first come, first served basis. Please leave enough time for your treatment. In the event of an in game injury, the therapist may elect to move an injured player to the front of the line. Basic tape and supplies will be provided free of charge to players. Teams or athletes requiring additional services will be provided preferential appointments, based on availability.
