Plan a reception at Thunderhead Lodge via a gondola ride with breathtaking views of the Yampa Valley, or host an expo along the Promenade which is the definition of slopeside in the winter, and is accented by the cascade of Burgess Creek in the summer. THE STEAMBOAT GRAND The Steamboat Grand provides professional expertise, individual service, and on-site assistance throughout the planning process and during your experience in Steamboat. The Steamboat Grand s conference center is comprised of more than 17,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor meeting, banquet and pre-function space conveniently located on one floor of the hotel. Additional meeting rooms are ideal for smaller group meetings and breakout sessions and have over 4,800 sq. ft. of combined space. The resort also offers an additional 10,000 sq. ft. of outdoor function space, perfect for weddings and/ or receptions. The Steamboat Grand can sleep 1,090 people.
