2015 Charity Golf Tournament May 7, 2015 FORMAT: Scoring: 4-Person Scramble. All players will hit a drive. They will select the best drive and hit their second shot from within one-club length of that spot. That club length may not change your cut of grass or take you out of a hazard. This process will continue until the ball is holed. There is a bogey maximum. Once your team reaches bogey status please pick up and proceed to the next hole. This will help maintain an appropriate pace of play for the event. RULES GOVERNING PLAY 2012 Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA shall apply. Local Rules: The Ball: Tee Markers: Embedded Ball: Boundaries: Water Hazards: Ground Under Repair: Roads and Paths: Doubt as to a Procedure: Ties: Golfers may use distance-only measuring devices in competition. A distance-measuring device that includes a compass or can measure changes in elevation may NOT be used in competition or for handicap purposes. Lift, Clean, and Place. The one ball rule is not in effect. Men will play from the members tees. If you are over 70 years of age you may play form the (3) tees. Ladies will play from the (4) tees. Is in effect through the green. Margin is defined by straight lines between stakes. Defined by Yellow stakes. Margin follows countour of hazard and is defined by one foot from water s edge stake to stake, not a straight line between stakes. Defined by enclosed white lines Golf cart paths and gravel roads will be played as obstructions. Rule 3-3; Play a second ball and inform offical prior to signing scorecard. All ties for the event will be broken by a scorecard playoff beginning on the #1 handicap hole, then #2 handicap hole, etc...
