BUNNINGS BBQ FUNDRAISER - SUNDAY 16TH JUNE!! We are kindly seeking you support, once again, to assist in running our Bunnings BBQ on Sunday 16th June. If you can please spare an hour or two, it would be sincerely appreciated!! Names will be taken soon at Club Night so please don t be shy, come along and put your name down! It really is lots of fun and the kids get a real buzz out of helping out too!! All help is gratefully accepted and appreciated!! McCredie Park Aquatics JUNE DEVELOPMENT SWIM MEET SUNDAY 23RD JUNE Our annual Development Meet is the Club s No. 1 Fundraising event and we need A LOT of helpers to run a successful meet!! There are plenty of jobs for everyone, including timekeeping, runners, BBQ (cooking and sales) and feeding the helpers!! So, if you are able to offer your support and/or have any friends, cousins, aunties, uncles or grandparents that may like to help out...bring them along and lets help to make this Meet the best one ever!! THE MORE THE MERRIER!!! PLEASE REMEMBER - all money raised by these events goes towards trophies/awards and social events throughout the year!!!

If you can dream it, You can become it. 2013 WINTER SPEEDO SPRINT SERIES SATURDAY 5TH MAY What a brilliant day of swimming was had by our Team of youngsters (8-13 years) at the recent Speedo Sprint Winter Series! There were a lot of individual achievements including PB s and Top 10 Area Placings & all of our kids did an amazing job! OUR TOP 10 AREA PLACE GETTERS WERE Marco, Connor, Logan, Olivia, Kayla, Maddison J, Elise, Travis, Amy & Ashliegh. All of our swimmers are to be highly commended on such awesome swimming!! A special thank you to one of our senior swimmers, Ryan, for warming up & giving our youngsters encouragement throughout the day!! 2013 WINTER SPEEDO SPRINT SERIES FULL STATE RESULTS JUST IN.. McCredie Park Aquatics placed 32nd out of a total of 94 Clubs scoring 500 points!! THAT S INCREDIBLE! WELL DONE TEAM! Also, a HUGE congratulations to 2 of our swimmers whom both achieved TOP 10 PLACINGS overall in the STATE!!! These swimmers were:- Travis Overall 1st in Butterfly, 2nd in Freestyle and 9th in Breaststroke Kayla Overall 1st in Breaststroke, 6th in Freestyle and 8th in Butterfly

If you can dream it, You can become it. 2013 SMSW SHORT COURSE CHAMPIONSHIPS SATURDAY 25TH MAY & SUNDAY 26TH MAY The weekend of 25th & 26th May, once again, proved extremely successful for our Team. An abundant of PB s were made and plenty of Top 10 placings & medals won! Our Top 10 achievers were: Charlotte, Jean Pierre, Kayla, Dale, Emily, Alyce and Ryan. Our Medal Winners were: Kayla = 1 x Gold, Jean Pierre = 1x Gold 1 x Silver & 1 x Bronze and Dale = 2 x Silver & 1 x Bronze. Well done to all of our wonderful swimmers for outstanding results and, once again, bringing pride to our Club. You are all absolute legends!! TO OUR TEAM COMPETING AT THE UPCOMING SYDNEY METROPOLITAN CHAMPIONSHIPS!! ENJOY, SWIM FAST & GO TEAM MCCREDIE!!!

MCCREDIE PARK S RECIPE OF THE MONTH FROM THE JABBOUR FAMILY Our favourite BANANA BREAD WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 1 & 1/4 cups self raising flour 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon low fat margarine 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg beaten lightly 1/4 cup low fat milk 1/2 cup mashed banana WHAT TO DO: Grease and line loaf pan. Combine all ingredients Do not over mix batter should be lumpy! Spoon into pan Bake in hot oven for about 20 min or until cooked when tested with skewer. YUMMY...ENJOY!! TECHNICAL TIP OF THE MONTH Backstroke Perfect your backstroke with these tips. Head position is critical in this stroke, be sure to keep your ears slightly below the surface of the water. After raising your hand and arm out of the water make sure that your hand re-enters pinky first in order to push through the water effectively M A D D I S O N HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SWIMMING?
