AWARDS The Goldmine Circuit is pleased to present to you the following awards: Prizes to be awarded randomly as class circuit awards in All Classes Saddles - Buckles - Custom Spurs Electronics Blankets Coolers Bicycles - Tack Show Pads Robin Hoods Nylon Sheets Clippers Tack Cases and Carriers Treasure Chests All Classes will receive individual judge awards 1 st 5 th, in addition, all classes will be awarded a circuit award (combined scores of both judges) 1 st 5 th. Circuit Awards for each class will not be announced until the class has been placed. All awards will be announced and presented in the arena at the conclusion of each class The All Breed High Point Saddle will be awarded to the horse with the highest number of points in All Breed classes. One horse/any rider The APHA High Point saddle will be awarded to the Paint Horse with the highest number of points in the APHA approved classes. One APHA Halter class is required to qualify for this award. One horse/any rider Novice Never Won A Buckle Champion: If you have never won a buckle, you qualify for this award. Scores will be combined from the following classes to determine the buckle winner for Novice Youth and Novice Amateur. Classes to count for this award are: Novice Showmanship, Novice Horsemanship & Novice Equitation. Exhibitor to show in all 3 classes to qualify. If there are no qualified exhibitors, show management will determine award placement based on show results. RULES All Breed Entries: All entry fees, stall fees, and/or grounds fees must be accompanied by payment in full. Entries will be accepted by fax (with credit card payment), on line or mail. Completed entry form must be postmarked no later than October 1, 2018. On-line entry available at www.mjmshowservices.com All Breed Cross Entries: Horses and riders may enter as many All Breed classes as they desire as long as they comply with the class specifications. Walk Jog exhibitors may enter 3 gaited classes, with the exception of 11 & Under W/J. (This rule applies ONLY to the All Breed Classes) Returned Checks: Any person writing a check on an account with insufficient funds will be charged a returned check fee of $50.00. Post Entries: Post entries will be accepted after October 1, 2018 with an additional fee of $35.00/horse. Refunds: Refund of entry fees after the closing date of October 1, 2018 may be issued minus a $45.00 office fee, providing a written veterinarian or physician certificate is received with refund request. Refunds may be held until the completion of the show at show management s discretion. No Refunds will be issued for No Shows. NO EXCEPTIONS No Refund of stall fees. No Exceptions. Combined Classes: Show management reserves the right to combine and/or cancel classes, if there are fewer than three (3) entries in a given class. Anyone who has entered a cancelled class will be refunded their entry fee. Bedding: Bedding is available on site at LAEC. Place all feed and bedding orders directly with LAEC Feed and Bedding. Dogs: All dogs shall be on a leash at all times and shall be secured and not roaming free during the horseshow. Stalls: Stalls will be assigned based on the order in which the paid stall reservations are received. Stall fees must accompany stall reservation. Stalls will be assigned on a first come first served basis. Scoring: Each judge will place the top 5 horses in each class. The first place horse, regardless of the number of entries in a class, will receive 5 points. Second place will receive 4 points. Third place will receive 3 points, etc., thru 5th place. The points from all judge s cards will be totaled and the horses with the highest number of points will receive the Circuit Championship Awards for that class. Circuit Awards will be given in each class 1 st thru 5 th place. Ties: The tie breaker for each class will be judge B. The horse placing highest under judge B will be declared the winner of the tie. Protests: All protests must be made in writing by the end of the show, and a protest fee of $100.00 must accompany the protest. If the protest is found to be valid, the $100.00 fee will be refunded. Awards: No person will know which awards will be presented to any class until after the class has been judged. At that time, the individual placings and the Circuit Awards for that class will be announced. Exhibitors MUST provide award coupon when picking up your award. No awards will be released without class award coupon which notates the placing received. No Exceptions Green Reining: For non pro, youth and amateur riders with less than $100 in lifetime reining earnings from any/all shows. Entry Forms: All entries must be submitted on the forms provided by The Goldmine Circuit, or the show secretary. All Breed entries must provide payment at the time of entry. APHA entries may submit entry without payment and/or submit open checks. Entries must be postmarked by entry deadline. All contestants must check out at show office or leave an open check for completion of entries. APHA contestants must provide copy of horse registration papers and all youth, amateur and novice cards. Gate Calls: A thirty (30) second gate call will be enforced. Please make every effort to be at the gate when your class is called. Contestants needing extra time for tack changes, etc. must notify the show personnel prior to gate call.

Definitions Youth: An individual who has not reached his/her 19 th birthday as of January 1 st of the current year. The age of the youth as of January 1 st will be the age maintained throughout the entire show year. Amateur: An exhibitor 19 years of age or older who is an amateur defined by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) or recognized breed organization. A current amateur card is advised. Novice: The purpose of the Novice Youth division is to raise the competencies and the confidence level of the person who has little or no experience in the show ring or is new to riding. This division is open to exhibitors who have not competed at, nor have they won championships at major breed events. Junior Horse: A horse that is 5 years old and younger. May be shown in a bit, snaffle bit or hackamore. Senior Horse: A horse that is 6 years old or older. Must be shown in a bit. Lead Line Classes: Walk Only
