THE SILVER SIGNAL www.lonestartreasure.com August 2010 1 Paul Wilson Dave Totzke Peter Krell Robert Jordan Lone Star Club Executive Officers President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Editors Corner by: Robert Jeffrey Good news - We are over half way through the summer. At this Fridays meeting it should be a cool 95 degrees outside. Is everyone getting ready for our annual hunt? There are 2 more meetings until the Lone Star Treasure Hunters Club 36th Annual Open Hunt. We all need to be thinking of what kind of desserts and prizes we will donate for the auction. Remember all proceeds go to the club. We also need to fill up the silver treasure chest with lots of silver. Paul is asking that everyone donate a dollar in silver to put in the chest. We will have a nice gas BBQ grill and a gold dose peso for 2 nd and 3 rd prize in the fund raiser drawing at the hunt. Don t quote me on this but I think I heard we are also going to start having gold in our monthly fund raising drawings. Come to the meeting this Friday and see for yourself. I found a few good items in Cisco TX last weekend and I also had the best chicken fried steak in Strawn. Ronnie Morris has requested that everyone bring door prize items to the meeting. I have a purple hippopotamus that is looking for a home.

Page 6 Napoleon coin found by Ivan Santos in La Réunion area "La Réunion was a socialist utopian community formed in 1855 by French, Belgian, and Swiss colonists approximately three miles west of the now defunct Reunion Arena and nearby Reunion Tower in downtown Dallas and near the forks of the Trinity River in Texas. The founders of the community were inspired by the utopian thought of the French philosopher François Marie Charles Fourier. Followers of Fourier established 29 similar colonies in various parts of the United States during the 1800s. The colony near present-day Dallas was incorporated into the emerging city of Dallas around 1860."
