RACE INFORMATION FGV TEK FOREST TRAIL 2018 FGV Tekam Forest Trail 2018 offer the latest trail running experiences in Jerantut, Pahang. The race start in the heart of Pusat Penyelidikan Pertanian Tun Razak (PPPTR) at Felda Residence Tekam. It will take runners along palm oil plantation and the historical Taman Warisan Gua Kota Gelanggi Caves, which includes Tongkat Caves (Gua Tongkat), Balai Caves (Gua Balai) and Penyu Caves (Gua Penyu) inside the Taman Warisan Gua Kota Gelanggi. 3. USE WAZE TO THE RACE SITE. There are three categories; 50km, 25km and 10km (We are currently developing the 100km race for 2019 as one of UTMB Qualifying race). The race venue in Felda Residence Tekam is about 2 1/2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur and easily accessible by road. For the runners that prefer not to drive, we offer shuttle bus service from Kuala Lumpur to the Felda Residence Tekam. Hotel rooms, chalets and camping site are the types of accommodation available. FGV Tekam Forest Trail offers a unique challenge for avid and fast runners as it will be a mixed of 70% trail and 30% road covering areas including palm oil plantations, replanting areas, a golf course and caves around Kota Gelanggi. The start and finish point of the race will be at Dataran KMK at Felda Residence Tekam. If you cannot make it on 4 th Aug to collect your race kit, please ask your friend to collect on your behalf provided that you sign the indemnity form attached with a copy your passport/ic. Please remember that you still need to do mandatory gear check (at race site) in order to collect your Timing bracelet on Sunday (5 th Aug) before 7 am. If you failed to do mandatory race kit, you won t be issued Timing Bracelet and thus there will be no timing for your race. Our t-shirt was ordered according to estimation. We will do our best to offer your preferred size as indicated in registration details. We urge you to come early to race pack collection and get your preferred t-shirt size. 6. PRIZES 8. OPTIONAL GEARS Hat / Cap Sunglasses Gaiter 10. FOOD & DRINK STATION Only registered runners with bib are allowed to enter these food & drink stations. Supporters and race audience are NOT allowed to enter these stations. 7. BAG DEPOSIT DURING RACE Bag deposit tent will be open on race day morning starting from 6. Please tag your bag with your NE and BIB number. Please do not store any valuables inside your bag. We won t be held responsible for missing bag or missing items in your bag. 11. TIMING BRACELET 10km / 25km & 50km participants will be issued timing bracelet prior to the race. Please make sure your timing chip bracelet is working properly, we are not responsible if your timing bracelet became faulty during the race. There will be crew with timing scanners at selected CP to record your time and splits.
