Student Drop Off While we recommend that you walk students to the second floor registration area, if you are dropping off, the most convenient place to drop off is on 5 th Ave. Volunteers in pink hard hats and purple shirts will be there to welcome you. Student Pick Up Parents and educators participating in PEP will join the girls at 2:45 for closing ceremonies. At dismissal we will provide instructions for connecting with your girls. If you are picking someone up, please come in the building and find her on the second floor by the registration booth. A nut-free boxed lunch will be provided. If you have special dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own lunch. T-Shirt & Bag Each participant will get a t-shirt. While not required, we encourage you to wear it. You will also receive a bag pre-stuffed with engineering related materials. Please feel free to use this as you go through the EXPO. EXPO At 9am after you have registered, both girls and adults may explore the 30 + exhibitors at the Outreach EXPO on the 4 th floor. The girls will receive a SWEngo Card (SWE s version of bingo). Get a stamp at each booth listed on your card, get SWEngo and you will be entered into a raffle. Turn your card in to your table leader at 10:45 and she will give you a raffle ticket. Win a $50 Amazon Card Make it to your table by 10:45am after the EXPO and get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a $50 Amazon card. Girls need to be at their assigned table in the 4 th floor ballroom by 10:45am and their Table Leader will issue them a raffle ticket. Parents/Educators need to enter the 2 nd floor room (207 A,B,C,D) by 10:45am and a volunteer will issue a raffle ticket. Set an alarm on your cell phone so you don t miss out.
Engineer All Stars (Sashes) From 8:30-10:30 you will see lots of engineers wearing sashes. These sashes will say what kind of engineer they are. They are there to meet you and show you a demonstration of the kind of work they do. Hard Hats Some of our engineers will be wearing hard hats. Those in the pink hard hats are there to help you find your way or answer any questions. Those in white hard hats with a red cross are there to help if first aid is needed. If you need assistance and don t see someone in a pink hard hat, anyone in a purple t-shirt can help. Purple Shirts Everyone you see in a purple shirt is an engineer and member of the Society of Women Engineers. These amazing women are volunteering their time on a Saturday to introduce you to engineering. Cowgirl Hats You will notice some people wearing some very colorful cowgirl hats. They are our volunteer leaders. Table Assignments Girls will find their table assignments on their nametags. Our volunteers will help you find your table.
