INTRODUCTION Thank you for considering The Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club for your 2018 golf event. The EGMGCC is a one-of-a-kind experience that you won t get at any other golf course. From military helicopters flying overhead, retired tanks and artillery pieces on the golf course and Canadian Forces themed golf carts, the EGMGCC is the perfect golf destination for your event. After your round, our talented kitchen staff will put together one of the best event meals you have ever had. Whether it s an 8oz. AA Alberta strip loin steak or a slow roasted AA Alberta prime rib, they will not only meet your expectations, they will exceed them! Our clubhouse is one of the best around for an inviting and relaxed dining experience. We can comfortably host up to 200 people with lots of extra room for silent auction or other activities. TOURNAMENT DETAILS Whether it s a small tournament of 24 or a large corporate or charity event, the EGMGCC wants you to feel comfortable. Our PGA of Canada professionals are here to make your event the best possible experience in the greater Edmonton area. For you and your guests, we have many different services to offer including hole-in-one insurance, custom flags & tee markers, logo golf products and any type of 1 st tee gift you can think of. TOURNAMENT DETAILS Tournament Add-ons Each tournament can be customized to meet your needs. These little add-ons can turn your function into a world-class event! GPS Sponsor Recognition - $35 per hole Full page, customizable, color GPS ads that appear where and when you want them to Much less hassle than traditional signs Forced recognition of advertisement as players must touch screen to return to yardages Increased recall over traditional marketing Better for the environment than plastic signs that are often used once and discarded Custom Logo d Flags* All custom flag options include 18 flags. Use your logo or a sponsor s logo to advertise on. Logo must be the same on a minimum of nine flags. Nylon Screen Printed (up to three colors; one sided) - $550 Nylon Embroidered Flag (unlimited colors) o Single Sided - $600 o Double Sided - $1000 Polyester Dye Sublimated Flag (unlimited colors) o Single Sided - $850 o Double Sided - $1100 Flags will be put on the golf course for the tournament and returned once play is finished. TOURNAMENT DETAILS Hole-in-One Insurance Made Simple! You just say what you would like to see and we do everything else! With our partnership with the PGA of Alberta and their insurance providers, we have the ability to offer many types of hole in one insurance to events hosted here at the club. Rates will vary depending on number of golfers and yardages. For a general quote idea: for the basic option of a $2500 prize with Men s Yardage of 150 yards and Women s yardage of 135 yards for 144 golfers, a $250 fee per hole would apply. Please note this is a generalized quote as rates and availability are subject to change. Pricing will be confirmed at time of quote. For larger prizes, spotters will need to be provided. TOURNAMENT EXTRAS Why not give your players something extra! These packages are great to enhance your tournament for the best value. Each package includes: COYOTE PACKAGE - $10 per player Sleeve of EGM logo golf balls, bag of tees and EGM bottle of water. (Items will be placed in the power carts for the start of the tournament. Upgraded golf ball options and custom logo s available.) LEOPARD PACKAGE - $25 per player Sleeve of EGM logo golf balls, bag of tees and EGM bottle of water placed in carts for start of event. Breakfast sandwich & coffee available in our lounge for all golfers starting 90 minutes before the start of the tournament. Two drink tickets that can be used in lounge or on beverage cart. Can be given out by organizer or attached to info material on power carts. HOWITZER PACKAGE - $35 per player Sleeve of EGM logo golf balls, bag of tees and EGM bottle of water placed in carts for start of event. BOOKING DETAILS & LOCATION BOOKING DETAILS All tournament bookings for 2018 will have their corresponding tournament date for the 2019 year booked. Previous year s tournaments have until February 1 st, 2019 to confirm their date for 2019. A confirmed booking requires the following: Tournament information and policies forms signed and returned Deposit paid according to group size A credit card for day-of incidentals Any dates not confirmed by February 1 st, 2018 will be opened for other events to book. BOOKING DETAILS & LOCATION Deposit All functions will be considered tentative until a deposit is received to confirm the booking. Deposits are non-refundable. Initial _ Cancellations Cancellations within 14 business days of the event will be charged the full tournament fees. A tournament can only be cancelled if The EGMGCC deems the golf course unplayable. Tournaments play rain or shine! If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or some other unforeseeable event, the food and beverage department requires 60 minutes to prepare the tournament meal. Initial Payment A credit card must be provided to cover any additional expenses or damage incurred on the date of the function, even if you are paying your deposit by cheque, debit, or cash. An invoice will be emailed on the day of the tournament or soon thereafter. Payment is due within 10 days of receiving the invoice. Any balances outstanding beyond 30 days after the event will be charged to the credit card on file. Initial Gratuities As an entity of the Cdn Forces, by policy we are unable to include any gratuities in our pricing. As such, all gratuities will be at the discretion of the customer. Before a final invoice is given you will be offered an estimate with gratuity options. Once completed, a final invoice will be offered. Initial Liquor Policy The EGMGCC liquor policy is as per Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission guidelines. All alcohol must be purchased from the EGMGCC. Any outside alcohol will be confiscated and playing privileges may be revoked. This is a zero tolerance policy. Tournament organizers are encouraged to aid in this. Damages to power carts and golf course typically occur by over intoxication due to outside alcohol. Tournaments wishing to host a liquor hole must purchase alcohol from The EGMGCC. Hard liquor is purchased by the bottle. The cost is $4.75 per beer, cooler, or ounce. Special requests can easily be accommodated. Prices may vary. Drink tickets are also available and will be charged on the number of tickets given. As per AGLC, only one alcohol hole is allowed per 9 holes. The EGMGCC requires a 14 day notice for purchasing of alcohol for beverage holes. Initial Food and Beverage All prices stated on current price list are subject to change and will be confirmed no later than 60 days prior to the function. Due to Provincial health regulations, all food served must be prepared on the club premises. Any leftover food must remain on club premises. Initial

POLICIES & REGULATIONS Speed of Play Slow play in not acceptable and golfers are asked to keep up with the group ahead of them. Course Marshalls will monitor slow play and slow groups may be asked to pick up their ball and catch the group in front of them. A 5 hour round is expected. After 5 ½ hours golfers will be required to complete their round regardless if they are finished or not. Harassment of marshalling staff will not be tolerated. Offending groups will be removed from the golf course. Initial Power Carts The EGMGCC has a fleet of 76 power carts on premises. Should an event require more than 76 power carts, please advise a minimum of 10 days in advance. This includes any carts needed for volunteers, photographers, organizers, etc. For a full 144 person golf tournament, 2 carts will be available for tournament errands. If more are required, this must be stated and booked ahead of time. For every 2 people less than a full 144 person tournament, one more cart would be available for errands. For tournaments that require more than 76 carts, the number of players confirmed 10 days prior will be the number of power cart rentals invoiced. This is due to fleet cart rental contracts. No stickers, labels, or adhesive materials are to be put on any of the carts. Doing so will incur a fee of $300 per cart that has been damaged. Initial Course Setup Course setup details must be given 48 hours in advance. Details must include: prize holes, drink holes, food holes plus any location of tables and chairs requested. Less than 80 people 6 tables and 12 chairs will be provided at no extra charge. More than 80 people 10 tables and 20 chairs will be provided at no extra charge. A $25 fee will be charged for every extra 1 table and 2 chairs above the stated limits. Towels, table cloths, umbrellas, coolers, or garbage cans will not be provided. Sponsors and volunteers are encouraged to come prepared. Initial Disclaimers Any negligent damage or lost equipment will be charged to the tournament, including but not limited to power carts, lost clubs and property damage. The EGMGCC will not be held responsible for loss or injury suffered or incurred by any guests All signage, banners etc. must be picked up 72 hours after your event. Initial Miscellaneous The EGMGCC reserves the right to put other golfers on the course with any tournament groups under 144 players. Initial

Initial Booking / 30 days prior: As a courtesy, we ask that the initial number of golfers given to be as accurate as possible. This will help us be properly staffed and prepared for your event. Please inform us of any changes in expected numbers whenever available. An accurate number must be confirmed 30 days prior. Initial: 10 Days: The EGMGCC must be notified 10 days prior to the event to give your final numbers +/- 10%. For example, if you booked for 100 players at this time and you are at 90 players 2 days in advance of tournament, your finalized tournament number can be as low as 90 or as high as 100. Initial: 2 Days: Final numbers must be given 2 days prior to the event. The customer will be charged for the guaranteed number or actual number served, whichever is greater. The number must also stay within the +/- 10% from the number given 10 Days Prior. For example, if you booked your tournament at 100 people 10 days prior and gave us your final number to be 90 and 95 people are at the event, you will be charged for 95 guests.
