CORPORATE CHAMPION SPONSORSHIP What is a Corporate Champion? A Corporate Champion agrees to sponsor Bowl for Kids Sake and actively recruit company teams to bowl and fundraise. Your company only donates the difference between your pre-determined financial commitment and the amount of funds raised by your teams. By becoming a Corporate Champion, you will receive all of the corresponding benefits of your sponsor level. In addition, businesses that have participated in this mutually beneficial partnership have found: Corporate community image is strengthened through its affiliation with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Employees are motivated to excel because of their employer support. Teamwork is required to reach fundraising goals strengthens employee relations and builds moral. Steps to Being a Corporate Champion Choose a level of support, $10,000, $7,500, $5,000 or $3,000. 1. Designate an employee as a Company Coordinator. 2. The Company Coordinator promotes Bowl for Kids Sake throughout the workplace and helps to create bowling teams and friendly internal competition. 3. The company agrees to pay the difference between your financial sponsorship and the amount raised by company teams! Tips to Jump-start Your Fundraising Efforts Institute dress-down days once a week allow your employees to wear casual attire (ex. jeans) in the workplace if they contribute $5 to the cause. Hold one pot luck lunch each month one team will host the lunch for that month and charge a $5 donation for attendees. Use our BBBS Bowling Banks to collect change ask your employees to deposit spare change into the bowling banks. Teams will compete against one another to collect the most change. Host a tie competition charge your co-workers a fee to enter a Best or Worst Tie Competition in your workplace. Encourage the entire office to vote during lunchtime for contest winners, award a prize. For additional fun, you could arrange a fashion show and allow contest participants to show off their attire prior to voting. (Hint: Promote fair play allow both men and women to enter this competition.) Watch friendly competitions brew between teams raise the stakes by creating incentives for the top fundraising employees and teams.
