Community Life in Ireland Questionnaire sent to all Guild secretaries Important results included 86% of responding Guilds noted that a post office in their local area had closed in the last 12 months. ICA responded by meeting politicians and TDs of all parties and presenting the findings and sending a delegation to the rally held in Dublin City Centre

Community Life In Ireland 48% of Guilds reported the closure of a local Garda station in their area 36.5% of responding Guilds reported that a local bank had closed in their area in the last 12 months 91% of responding Guilds felt that banks in their local area had reduced their services eg: staffing over the last 12 months 15% of responding Guilds have no broadband in their local area
