GRAND SLAMS: The Braves surrendered their fourth grand slam of the season Friday when Matt Szczur took Chris Withrow out to left-center field in the eighth. The Braves have allowed an MLB-high four of the 17 grand slams in baseball this season, after being the only team in 2015 to not give one up. ROUGH START: After starting the season 0-9 for the first time since the 1988 campaign (when they opened 0-10), the Braves won four straight games before losing nine of their last 11. The Braves 18 losses last month set the franchise record for most April defeats (since 1900). HOME RUNS: Atlanta s five home runs so far are the fewest for the club through the first 24 games of a season since the 1931 team had four.
