Tipoff at the Pitt-Johnstown Sports Center is set for 7:30 p.m. The win streak has pulled IUP from fifth place in the PSAC West into its current three-way tie for first place with an 8-3 league record entering the week. The Crimson Hawks (11-5 overall) are coming off of an 89-71 home victory over Slippery Rock on Saturday. He is fourth on the team with 8.8 points per game and leads the Crimson Hawks with 100 rebounds and 6.3 rebounds per game. His 66.2 field goal percentage would rank first in the PSAC and 10th in the country if he had enough made field goals to qualify. In addition to his current total of 215 wins, Lombardi has a.724 career winning percentage in his nine-plus seasons, the best in IUP history. He hit the 200-win plateau with IUP s victory over Glenville State in the first round of last year s NCAA tournament. He s the fastest IUP coach to reach the milestone.
