20-21 October 2018 - Event Guidelines NORTHERN REGION & MOUNTAIN RAIDERS BMX CLUB is proud to present the 2018 BMX New Zealand North Island Titles, the premier North Island event for BMX racing in New Zealand. The following guidelines will detail the event & all the requirements for entry. EVENT LOCATION: Venue - Mountain Raiders BMX Club, Address - Lloyd Elsmore Park, Bells Road, Pakuranga, Auckland ENTRIES CLOSE: ALL CLASSES close 8 pm - 16 September 2018. ONLINE ENTRY ONLY. NO Late entries will be accepted ENTRY FEES: per Rider per Class Challenge & Championship (20 & Cruisers) $75.00 Sprockets 5&under yrs (paracipaaon only) $30.00 (no transponder needed) Mighty 11s Open Class $35.00 NZ ENTRY INFORMATION: ALL classes via ONLINE ENTRY ONLY No entry will be taken on day of event. Entry is complete only when payment is confirmed. BMXNZ reserves the right to refuse entry to any person. No refunds will be given ader Friday 19 October 2018 for any reason. To enter this class, riders must also enter and compete in a challenge class, cruiser class or be a member of the Mighty 11 test teams. Transponder RegistraAon. All transponders will need to be registered onsite prior to racing. This will be done at the check point near the Admin hut. The process will be advised soon. This process can be done at anyame during the Friday pracace Ames or 7.15-9.00am Saturday morning. NUMBER PLATES & SIDE STICKERS: Number plates & side sackers will be issued to riders by the Club Team Manager and must be used within this event, including all official pracace sessions. Ranking Plates - A rider holding a 1 8 ranking from the following meeangs; Worlds 2018, BMX NZ NaAonal Championships 2018, North Island Titles 2017 and wish to use this number at the meeang, the ranking must be clearly marked on the entry form. All riders not entering with these rankings or with an incorrect ranking will be issued with randomly selected numbers.

Order of lane choice based on count back to moto points. MINIMUM CLASS SIZE 6 riders consatute a class (amalgamaaons as required). Class sizes will be determined ader the close of entries for trophy allocaaon purposes. CHALLENGE 20 & CRUISER Classes: 4 motos Saturday, 2 motos Sunday then finals (depending on class sizes) 7 or less riders: 4 motos Saturday, 3 motos Sunday, points aggregated 8 or 9 riders: 4 motos Saturday, 2 motos Sunday, to 7 man deadman file 10 or more riders: 4 motos Saturday, 2 motos Sunday then; 10-16 riders: to deadman final 17-32 riders: to deadman semis & deadman final 33-64 riders: to quarters, semis & final (all deadman) 65-80 riders: to eighths, quarters, semis & final (all deadman) MIGHTY 11 JUNIOR TEST TEAMS (New Zealand & Australia) NOTE: All Mighty 11s riders are required to enter their Age Class or the Mighty 11 Class as applicable, in addiaon to the Test Team classes. Saturday: 3 motos, beginning of rounds 2, 3, 4 Sunday: 2 motos, beginning of round 5 and end of round 6 Points: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (All points added. Team gate allocaaon) NI TITLES CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES: 3 mixed moto. Top 8 riders to 3 heat finals Saturday: 3 qualifying motos 5-8 riders - Points over 4 motos. Final moto Saturday. Sunday: 9-16 riders - riders to a 3 heat final. 17+ riders - deadman semi, top 8 rider to 3 heat final. KIWI SPROCKETS: Riders 6&7yrs will ride in UCI age classes for this event. Standard racing formats apply. Riders 5yrs & under will be non-ranking paracipaaon classes TIED POSITIONS: All Aed posiaons will be separated by Countback. No run-offs will be held. CONTINGENCY PLANS: In case of disrupaon or weather, moto format may be changed, at the discreaon of the Chief Commissaire. In cases of extreme delay or weather, Monday may be used as an alternate day for racing PRIZE GIVING: This will be held trackside Sunday 22 October, approximately 30 minutes ader the finish of racing.

BMX Racing is an acaon sport & inherently has risks that are accepted as part of sport. All known risks are noted in the BMXNZ Major MeeAng RMP & this is available onsite during the event. ParAes wanang to assess the RMP prior to entry must contact the club for detail. Entry to this event confirms an understanding of the risks of the sport as noted in the RMP. In the event of injury to an event paracipant, a completed entry is consent to proper medical treatment being administered. Event entry also consents to submit to drug tesang if required. All entrants agree to be bound by the regulaaons and general condiaons for this event as published by BMXNZ in its latest rule book.
