Krav Maga Beginners Brian Kushner $300 of Roundhouse Krav Maga & Martial Arts Beginners (first time students or one previous semester) Limit: 12 students Krav Maga was founded and developed originally by Imi (Lichtenfeld) Sde-Or. Imi created Krav maga for military purposes, meant to improve combat abilities of Israeli IDF soldiers in the early 50's. Over the years, the Krav Maga system was further developed by Imi to provide self-defense solutions for the civilian sector as well. At Roundhouse Krav Maga in Krieger Schechter we teach our Krav Maga students avoidance of confrontation, then defenses when necessary to escape a situation. We also show the students variations in techniques if the attacker is a bully their size, or a stranger - an adult they do not know. We talk about options that they have in situations, what is okay to do and what is excessive. A portion of the classes includes games that stress the same skills they are using in techniques to promote muscle memory. *Please pack comfortable clothing for exercise to wear during this class. *A Krav Maga t-shirt will be provided, please indicate your child s shirt size on registration form. 2
