Make one check for the total amount payable to NBYBA. 2) NBYBA will furnish insurance, game scheduling, umpires, game balls, fields, and field maintenance. 3) Each team will be responsible for obtaining its own uniforms and equipment. Pertaining to Nacogdoches teams There will be no draft held to select players. Coaches and parents are responsible for forming their own teams. NBYBA will assist only in maintaining a list of the names of players who wish to play and coaches who wish to form a team. It is recommended that parents unable to find a team for their child begin their own team. TEAM STRUCTURE 1) Players may only play in the league this Fall that they will be eligible to play in next Spring. No younger players may play in the next league up and no older players may be held back, regardless of experience level. The age cutoff date used by Dixie League is April 30th. 2) All teams will be required to have a minimum of 10 players on the roster. GENERAL RULES 1) Dixie League Baseball rules and NBYBA local league options will be followed. See below. 2) Teams will play double headers on Saturdays. 3) Each team will provide a scorebook. The Home team book will be considered the official book. 4) Each team will be responsible for cleaning out their dugout after their games. Please urge your players and spectators to keep the ball park as clean as possible.
TEE-BALL (Players born between 05/01/2012 thru 04/30/2014) 1) Games will be 3 innings or 1 hour long, whichever comes first. No new inning will begin after time has expired no exceptions. If the home team is ahead or is unable to catch up when time has expired, they will not take their 2) Each player must play at least one complete inning on defense. 3) Each team will bat all players present (through the line-up) each inning. 4) No pitching, just hitting off the tee. FARM LEAGUE - Coach Pitch (Players born between 05/01/2010-04/30/2012) 1) Games will be 6 innings or 1 hour and 15 minutes long, whichever comes first, with drop 2) Each team will be required to play every player a minimum of 2 defensive innings per game, unless a team only plays 3 defensive innings due to time limitations. Teams may play with 10 defensive players in the field, provided that 4 players are back in regular outfield depth positions. 3) Each team will bat all players present (through the lineup). The 5-run inning cap will be MINOR LEAGUE 10U (Players born between 05/01/08-04/30/2010) 1) Games will be 6 innings or 1 hour and 30 minutes long, whichever comes first, with drop 2) Each team will be required to play every player a minimum of 2 defensive innings per game, unless a team only plays 3 defensive innings due to time limitations. 3) Each team will bat all players present (through the lineup). NACOGDOCHES BOYS YOUTH BASEBALL ASSOCIATION 2018 FALL BASEBALL PARENTAL AUTHORIZATION AND MEDICAL RELEASE I, parent or guardian of the child whose name is listed on the same line with my signature below, hereby give my approval of the child s participation in any and all of the activities; I do further hereby release, absolve, indemnify and hold harmless the league (Nacogdoches Boys Youth Baseball Association) and the organizers, sponsors, and the supervisors, any or all of them. In case of injury to my child, I hereby waive all claims against the organizers, the sponsors or any of the supervisors appointed by them. I likewise release from responsibility any person transporting my child to or from the activities. I will furnish a birth certificate of the above named child upon request of league officials. I realize that a portion of the registration fee paid for my child goes toward insurance coverage in case of injury to the child while participating in an activity sponsored by the Nacogdoches Boys Youth Baseball Association, including games, practice, team parties, etc. Deductibles will be the responsibility of the parents or guardians. I grant permission for league officials or their representatives to secure medical treatment for my child in case of injury during a league activity or while the child is going to or coming from a league activity. I grant permission for qualified hospital personnel or nurses or medical doctors or any combination of the above to treat the child or take any measures they deem necessary to the best interests of the child s health when the child suffers any type of injury or health problem during league activities or while coming to or leaving such activities.
