There is a Star in All of Us. We ll Help Make Yours Shine!!! Recital Costumes The recital costumes are approximately $85-$95, plus tax, each (per student, per class). Upper Level classes could run a little higher. To help out, we will accept costume deposits with your tuition payment this month. A notice will be given to each parent beginning the week of November 26th detailing the cost of the costume(s), any credit from the cookie dough fundraiser or advance payments and any remaining amount owed. Any amount owed must be paid in full by Noon, Saturday, 12/22/2018 or your costume(s) will not be ordered. Finally, while students are not required to perform in the recital, no student will be permitted to perform in the recital without a costume. Keep in mind that for those students who take multiple classes, if you find the multiple costumes too costly, your student may perform in the recital with only your choice of class(es), but we must know this before the costumes are ordered. Once ordered, the costumes cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded. Please let us know before the Christmas break if you have any questions or concerns. Happy Thanksgiving to All!! October Student of the Month Abby Choueiry Abby began taking classes with StarMaker in May of this year studying tap, jazz and ballet. This fall, along with ballet and jazz, she will be a part of the StarMaker All Stars. She works really hard to learn new choreography and is not afraid to raise her hand and ask a question if she does not understand something. She is always smiling and has a great time in dance class. CONGRATULATIONS ABBY! Recital Costume Measurement Weeks Beginning Monday November 5th and continuing thru Saturday November 17th, Miss Lynn and/or Miss Leigh will be visiting each classroom to measure each student for their recital costume. We will have all of the costuming information mailed out upon return from the Thanksgiving break. NOVEMBER THEME - WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR? Each month StarMaker will bring a new theme to our pre-school program. The lesson plans for each month will be based around that theme. Some months will have something special like a dress up day. The theme for November is: What we are Thankful For As we continue to developed our dance skills we will also be talking and celebrating what we are thankful for as we head into Thanksgiving this month. COMING SOON! Holiday Drive!!!! During the months of November and December, Starmaker will be collecting aluminum cans for Aluminum Cans for Burned Children. Beginning in November, we will have tubs located in the main studio and studio 4. Please consider depositing your cans to this worthy cause. 2018 Christmas Show The Joy of Christmas Benefiting Aluminum Cans for Burned Children We are excited to once again bring you a great way to start the holiday season with our new Christmas Show. This show is open to students of all ages!!! The show will be performed on Sunday December 9th at 2:30pm. Rehearsal Dates: November 18th and 25th December 2nd and 8th. Times to be announced - based on participation Students must attend at least 3 of the 4 rehearsals to participate in the show.
