We plan on shooting the speed pistol and rifle at various distances and the shotgun will include poppers. While no poppers are planned for the main match it s always nice to get some practice in on them (I know I need it!) Thanks to the Verdant Mountain Vigilantes for the use of the name The Great Nor easter. Texas Roadhouse will be catering for us again this year. After spending a long day on the range, why bother cooking; treat yourself to a wonderful dinner out with great friends Did I mention there won t be any dishes to do afterwards? When signing up for the Saturday Banquet, be sure to indicate your choice of steak or chicken. Saturday Dinner & Extravaganza ADMIT ONE Keep in mind that the club house is open to all cowboy shooters (and family members/guests) during the match. This includes during the Saturday evening dinner. While it will take a pre-purchased ticket to enjoy the Texas Roadhouse catered dinner, you are welcome to bring whatever you are having into the club house and join in the fun. Once the dinner has wrapped up we will move on to awarding of the Side Match winners and the ever popular costume contest as only Birdie Cage can do. Have you ever received a Boot ee? Come and find out what they are all about. The line-up for the next day s Top Gun and Sweet 16 Shoot-off will be announced. ADMIT ONE

THE GREAT NOR EASTER The Bucket Have you seen the July Cowboy Chronicle? The Great Nor easter is on the front cover with a great article about the 2013 event. There are also lots of pictures from the weekend. And in case you haven t read the story yet we need to mention The Bucket. The Bucket is a tradition started somewhere back in the midst of time and to this day is carried forward by Critter T. Longshot and Ruby Rose Longshot. The Bucket appears to be an innocent mix of various fruit juices, ice and the occasional wedge of lemon and lime but trust me, it s not innocent. And most important; Never, Ever, consider The Bucket as a shot glass. For if you do make this mistake well, I ll let you guess the results. A VERY SAD SIGHT INDEED! AN EMPTY BUCKET. Are you concerned about traveling with firearms? Shipping them to and from the match may be arranged. Contact Capt. Morgan Rum for more information: 603-772-5041. The Great Nor easter is looking for WADDIES to help out with this year s event. WADDIES you get to shoot-through on Wednesday, then work Thursday through Sunday; one, two, three or maybe all three days depending on your schedule. And the best part a reduced rate to shoot the match! Indicate you want to VOLUNTEER on your registration form. Dry Camping available at the range see the Camping form on the Registration page of the website. July 23-26, 2015 marks the GNE 10th Anniversary SAVE THE DATE! Send us your ideas for the 2015 10th Anniversary Great Nor easter Tell us what will make it a blow-out event for you!

www.thegreatnoreaster.com THE GREAT NOR EASTER Red Roof Inn of Salem The Red Roof Inn of Salem (15 Red Roof Lane, Salem, NH 03079) has set aside a block of rooms with a discounted rate for GNE attendees. You will need to reserve by June 24th to get this great rate. To make reservations call 800-733- 7663 before the June 24th cut-off date. You must mention Block Number B151GRTNOR to get the attendee rate. See the Lodging link on the GNE website for rate information. Other local hotels are also listed there. It takes GREAT SPONSORS to put a match together! These sponsors have stepped up to make sure we are out of the sun (or rain) at the loading tables this year...be sure to thank them!
