IT S THE SNOW With an average of 750cm (24.5 feet) of 100% natural, dry and fluffy powder snow annually and our focus on making our resort friendly and accessible to guests of all ages we know that Big White Ski Resort is the perfect place to bring your school group for the day. How do the Groups Department make booking so easy? PREPARATION: We know that Big White Ski Resort is the perfect place for kids to enjoy a fun filled Ski trip! We want their Chaperones to know they are not alone in running such a trip, our Groups Department will work together with the Group Leader to ensure easy preparation and an even easier time on the mountain. To get started; we have outlined pricing and policies to help you decide on the best package for your School Group. To get a quote; simply let us know your School is interested in hosting a trip up at Big White Ski Resort and we will send you our School Group Request form. This allows us to collect all the important information we need to create the perfect School Ski Trip! To book; once the booking is ready to go ahead, we will ask for a letter from the school administration confirming that the trip is approved by the school board. We will provide you with a full timeline of payments and processes for your booking. Before you arrive; we will send you our Lesson & Rental form so we can collate all the necessary data for your arrival, making your on mountain time enjoyable and stress free! ON ARRIVAL: You will be welcomed to Big White Ski Resort by our friendly ski resort staff. We will present you with an arrival package that will include all of your tickets & vouchers, as well as a personalized itinerary including helpful information and an insight into mountain activities. DEDICATED GROUPS DEPARTMENT Our dedicated team specialize in looking after school groups of all sizes, making sure your day trip is lots of fun, educational and runs smoothly. value Offering exclusive deals for School Day trips only, we make this an affordable trip for all students. GREAT WEATHER Big White enjoys some of the best weather in British Columbia. We boast an average temperate of 5 C (23 F), allowing you to ski and board all day in comfort. LIFTS & LESSONS Our highly trained ski and snowboard instructors are ready to teach your beginner students, or develop the skills of your more experienced young people. Every chairlift accesses a wide variety of challenging terrain including at least one green run, so all ability levels can comfortably explore the mountain. ABUNDANT ACTIVITIES Skiing and snowboarding are not the only things to do at Big White. We have an outdoor skating rink, tubing park, horse drawn sleigh rides, dog sledding and snowmobiling, amongst others.

SAMPLE ITINERARY WHEN WHAT WHERE 8:00am* Depart Kelowna for Big White Let us organize a private coach for you 9:00* Arrive at Big White, park buses & meet a Big White Groups Department representative Our resort staff representatives will meet and help park your coaches. They will jump on the bus before students disembark to brief them on the days events & distribute tickets and vouchers Your School Happy Valley Day Lodge Parking Lot Across is a suggested itinerary of how our school day trips run. Our itinerary is tried and tested, making your teachers day stress-free and maximizing your students time on the snow. This itinerary is valid Monday through Friday morning and subject to availability, we can book you in for any school day! 9:00-9:45am* Collect rental equipment Our resort staff will help escort your group on the Gondola from Happy Valley up to the Village Center Mall where our rental shop is located. Here our Rental staff will be awaiting your groups arrival with all information already entered into the system from the Lesson & Rental form you have already completed. Each student will collect their equipment and have a teacher sign the rental waiver on their behalf before leaving the shop. Rental Shop, Village Centre Mall 9:45am or 10:00am 2 hour Group Lesson Using the information you already provided we will have the students lesson groups already organized. Meet in the Village Center where our friendly instructors will be waiting, ready to take your students snow experience to the next level! Departs from Village Centre 12:30pm Lunch Break Pre book a nice hot meal or feel free to eat prepacked lunches in the Happy Valley Day lodge area Happy Valley Day Lodge 1:15pm Free time & Activities For more fun on the snow your lift passes will be valid for the whole day! Make the most by taking your students back out to practice their skills or consider some adventure activities! Happy Valley Day Lodge 2:30-3:30pm* Depart Big White for Kelowna Be sure to return all rental equipment before jumping back on the bus and heading home Back to School! *Your departure times may vary depending on where your school is located and how large your group is. Group rates are based on a minimum of 20 ppl (or 16 from the local area) with a minimum of 20 lift tickets purchased (Minimum of 16 for guests from the local area). No complimentary tickets available with any package. 4. One adult chaperone per twelve students is required. 5. Rates are not valid December 27, 2018 to January 2, 2019 inclusive. 6. All lessons are mandatory for students to ensure a safe, educational & memorable day. Lesson times are strictly 9:45am or 10:00am Monday to Friday depending on age of students. 7. Please ensure your bus arrives at the Happy Valley Parking lot no later than 8:45AM, this allows a minimum 45 minute window to make your way from Happy Valley up to the Village Centre and collect rentals before lessons. If the arrival time is not feasible, please contact the Groups Team to discuss alternatives. 8. Lost Lift Tickets: each lift ticket has a unique number starting with WTP. This number must be recorded and presented to the Groups Department to receive a replacement ticket. Other tickets/vouchers have a tear off stub. Once a replacement ticket has been issued, the lost ticket will be cancelled and made invalid for further use. 9. 20 or more meals must be purchased to qualify for group meal deal. If meals are purchased we will require the final order 7 days prior to arrival. All food & beverage is non-refundable within 3 days of the groups arrival. 10. This package has been designed for one off school bookings. For regular lessons please contact Ski School for more information on our After School Program. Additional Day Group Booking Stipulations ** All notifications of cancellation must be sent directly to Big White Central Reservations Groups Department in writing by email or fax ** A group leader is required to act as liaison between Big White Central Reservations Groups Department & the group. Details of a group booking will not be discussed with individual guests that are part of the booking all correspondence must be directed through the group leader.
