CTruk CWhisper Design objectives of CWhisper: Dramatic improvement in comfort for technicians transiting out to the wind farm. Motions will be approximately ¼ those of conventional catamarans Increase in speed in rough seas. The SWATH hull form will allow much higher speeds than conventional catamarans in seas of over 1.0m significant Increase in transfer limit wave heights to 2.0m significant. Tests have shown that the force needed to hold CWhisper against the TP are ¼ those needed for a catamaran. Using the CTruk Docking Augmentation System (DAS-patent applied for) CWhisper does not need gangway systems. Thus leading to a safer, simpler, faster and more cost effective personnel transfer system. The complex hull design needed to provide the speed and comfort implicit with CWhisper is only possible using resin infusion proven on CTruk s range of high payload, multipurpose catamarans. Whilst CWhisper will provide some 50 more operational days for Round 1 and Round 2 wind farms it is also designed with Round 3 in mind. Ctruk envisage that CWhisper will be davit launched from Mother ships to provide cost effective access in all, but the roughest seas.

CVenture 40 a sleek new development CTruk is developing a great new design. The CVenture 40 delivers year-round operation capability, effortlessly adapting from offshore support vessel to luxury charter yacht. Based on the CTruk 50T multi-purpose catamaran, with its solid workboat specification ideal for North Sea offshore work, this design means that as the offshore wind work tails off at the end of the summer, the operator can transform their vessel into a luxury charter yacht and head off to the Caribbean for a profitable winter too. The transformation is made possible by CTruk s unique flexible pod system, enabling this Ken Freivokh-styled vessel to neatly switch roles. With a deck area equivalent to a conventional 40m super yacht, this sleek but tough expedition vessel can take up to 12 passengers to places other super yachts cannot go. On returning to Europe following her Caribbean winter, the CVenture 40 easily reverts to combined accommodation and offshore wind farm support vessel, able to transport and accommodate up to 24 technicians in comfort and style. This is a real step change in the future of offshore wind support vessels CTruk in partnership with: 01206 302088 7-9 Shipyard Estate, Brightlingsea, Essex CO7 0AR info@ctruk.com www.ctruk.com
