TARHEEL CLASSIC T-BIRDS, INC. MINUTES April 11, 2015 The Tarheel Classic T-Bird club received an email from a representative of the Old Salem club asking for participation in an old car show to be held at the Winston Salem Hotel and Spa on Saturday April 11 th 9:00 AM to 5:0 PM. was determined that our club would participate and hold our April meeting at noon in the Hotel. Emails had been sent to several clubs across the state, but there was not much organization as only a few cars attended and several left after a short stay. Participating was a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang, a 1965 Mustang (Larry & Renee Dugan), a 1972 Triumph Stag (Charles Talbert), and a pair of 1955 and 1956 Chevy Bel Air s. After a lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers, Renee called the meeting to order. The minutes from the March meeting were approved with a motion from Bill Lendzian and a second from Bob Walker. The treasury was declared as being solvent. Due to the small number of attendees no 50-50 drawing was held. Bob Walker announced that he had made arrangements for the May meeting to be held on Saturday, May 16 th at Gary's Bar-BQ in China Grove, NC. Renee reminded us that the June meeting will be a joint meeting with the Star City Club, and will be held on Saturday the 20th at the Rocky Knob picnic area on the Blue Ridge Parkway. With no more business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Larry Dugan and a second from RC Chanon. The group left about 2:00 PM.
